On the Street…Washington St., New York

I thought this look needed a close-up and a full body!

This is another example of Jenny buying into a color story, this time brown & yellow.

The coat, earrings and scarf were all bought vintage over a period of a couple years and only until she recently found the coat did the look come together.

I love that it’s all vintage but it doesn’t scream “I wear vintage!”

The contrast between those two coats are enormous…couture versus bag lady…chic versus shabby…don’t you just love fashion…I do!

Wearing vintage so well and with such aplomb is a skill few manage – Jenny does. As you state, her instinct of colour is inherent. No wonder you are smitten!

True because otherwise it would look a bity boxy on her slender frame. By the way, I see some serious coats in the site lately!

Scott, Jenny is such a gem!
Chic without effort, and I love that she is not a “won’t wear pieces again” celebrity type of lady. I’ve seen these boots and they are gorgeous!

Mrs Queen is in love with her. The dressers always insist on putting Mrs Queen in pink. She had no idea brown could be so flattering and pink so dowdy.

Gasp-worthy elegance from the tips of her vintage flower earrings to the soles of her lace up booties!

Vintage doesn’t have to look old fashioned, better tailoring and fabrics and classic styling. Fabulous coat, I would have bought that coat had I seen it somewhere and if it fitted. In my dreams. Gorgeous!
