The Sartorialist x Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS

I’m well familiar with the primal roar of a Porsche engine but to hear it and feel it from the drivers seat is a whole new experience.

I drove the new Targa from Milan to Paris during a two day break in fashion month, the European country side is such a beautiful blur at 80 mph!

This is SUCH a beautiful car! I have to say that I LOVE the music in the background as well. Does anyone know the song and the artist?

I usually don’t care about cars, but this ride looks really nice and Porche has been one of my favourite ones since I was a little.

Did you also try to get from 0 to 100? If yes, how fast it was?

That’s such a beautiful car! Like you say it has the perfect combination of modern and classic. Will love to have the opportunity to drive it.

I love the car, love the spot…

….but why does it have to end with a shot of you checking your cellphone? That brings it from fantasy down to the utterly pedestrian. It’s like a guy who checks his cellphone during sex. Can’t we be free of those things for five minutes?

This alluring and beautiful machine is just what I would expect the Sartorialist to be driving around in! I admire the tasteful elegance of this car and how you described it in the video.

It’s a stunning vehicle. After seeing this clip I’d only want red but the closest I will come is if Matchbox do a version.

Somebody jokingly suggested you should be the next Jeremy Clarkson…well I for one do not see that as a joke! Sart, you’ve conquered photography period. And not just fashion photography. You’ve lead the way for so long, maybe it is time for you to spread your wings. You are a style “guru”, of that there’s no doubt…so let’s see you move into design advice, spokesperson for a big label…come on Kaiser Karl! Make the call, Scott’s ready! Then onto other areas of design…why not? You’ve earned it, and as you’ve grown as an artist you’ve grown as an all round human being. I want to see you all over the place, accept no limits…we (your public) will accept no substitute!!!

Great video, footage and narration. The sound of the engine is just so soft. The sound track is beautiful as well.

Did you feel like you were dancing with the car? I live in the countryside and when I drive the curves it feels just like magical dancing.
