Great ambiance and music, reminiscence of old black and white movies. Elegant gentlemen playing cards, billiard and drinking fine brandy, but where is the “femme fatale”?

I love how when I watch these dinner videos I feel like I’m being transported back in time. The attention to detail and emotion on the faces is great. Thank you for sharing with us

A very elegant dinner, except for the guys in regular ties. Not wearing a bow tie with a dinner jacket is unforgivable.

As a mature man who, since childhood, has always worn suits, ties, fine shoes, etc. I can tell you that being in a room with other well-dressed, yet not fussy, men is extremely gratifying.
It emphasizes the wonder and solidarity of the Y chromosome. My fraternity meets
monthly and we must all wear business attire or occasionally black tie. The variations
and creativity exhibited are exciting to see and inspiring to anyone interested in clothing
and one’s presentation of self in everyday life.

Great stylish dinner! Funny to see an elegant Mos Def as well. Good shot as always

Mos is legit. I’ve been wondering for YEARS when he was going to show up on The Sart. Hope we see more of him. He’s a true bespoke cat, in life, thought, AND style. Word to Scott for inviting him.

Although…I wish we got to hear more of the round-the-table conversations rather than edited down vignettes.

      Regardless, a fun little watch.

Very nice editing and overlap of images, choice of tempo in the music….it brings together very well a vintage feel of gentlemen comraderie.

It’s getting to a point where these videos are about the same men all dressed up, eating and drinking and having a good time. Now I’d like to see something new.

Très agrĂ©able vidĂ©o mais un peu court. J’aurais voulu y ĂŞtre plus longtemps.

First I wanted to say something like time travel, but it is more like a travel into a parallel universe. And besides all these handsome men that is the value: that one can create parallel universes, that they are there and fortunately we came to see this one.

The thing I love most about these dinner videos is the laughter and the way these gentlemen lean towards each other when they are engaged in conversation, the way they touch each other on a sleeve, a lapel or a shoulder when they are speaking. You can see that they all really want to be there and that they are having a wonderful time in each others company.

In a way you are right, but I don’t think it’s necessary to judge it so seriously and severly. For me it is like in childhood days, when we were some else almost every day, inspired by crazy phantasies as well as cheesy clichĂ©s. (who am I and if so how many? R.D. Precht)

Yasiin Bey! I’ve always admired his style, and it’s super nice to see him in the film.

Also, love the shot of the tattooed hand and the wedding ring.

I love the mood. Pure manly camaraderie, and dare I say, joy! Thank you for organizing and filming these dinners to give us [women, in particular] a sneak peek into a world, brief as it is, that marvelously still exists in 2013. Any chance you can convince George Clooney to come down from his lake house for the next one?…a girl can dream.

Scott…love your work. I found your videos on AOL. Each one was a little trip to a happier place…a slice of beautiful life. At every end I wanted more. Thank you for packaging bite sized delicious pieces of live!

I think that I’m going to start my own ‘DINNER for 25′ next year. After watching the videos of the past events, it looks like fun!! Everyone should have their own version and make an annual event.
