This reminds me of a scarecrow. Not in a bad way, it's cute. And, I love his expression and the hat. People don't often wear hats anymore… I wish they did.

Who would've thought my velour sweater from gradeschool, my dad's gentleman jeans ca. 1995, a child's hat and the leftovers of the 2005 keffiyeh fad would look so smashing.

Nice belt with the denim – As a lady I wouldn't fancy being bursting for the loo in this though…

Oh . . . glad you posted that second shot. The first is a lovely portrait, but the second shows why you are the quintessential roving style finder and photographer. That belt, fashioned out of a bit of cloth, unravelling t the edges, is brilliant.

So this season! I love the belt and the combination of brown and jeans blue. The confidence of this man is catching.

Oh the look on his face just resonates confidence, especially when highlighted by that tipped hat-and the nonchalance of his belt. Though, must admit, not sure I'm ready for the return of the denim trouser.

Sartorial vs. lavatorial; Monsieur ain't going to be whipping those down in a hurry if he's caught short.

Digging the Star Trek velour, but the hat looks a little small.

Clothing is probably the most silent of expressions used by human societies to demarcate social boundaries and to distinguish "Self" from "other" at both the collective and individual levels.

Tha hat's too small. I love the blue blue jeans and the brown velour. I remember velour ,,,always cozy, and shed like crazy in the clothes dryer.

Interesting that most people commented on the belt… the first thing I noticed was the trouser style jeans! Love those pockets!

Echoing another comment on this one, I am reminded of some shirts I had made for a gentleman who insisted on having an 8-button front. I tried to dissuade him, but I'm sure that his first trip to tend to the necessary probably did more to convince him not to repeat that on his next order than any amount of arguing I could have ever attempted to have made. One only hopes that the knot is not too tight for this fellow.

No to the belt! It's a bit too Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz for me. As much as I like the movie…

I wish it was full length. I was hoping to scroll down and see the cuff length of the pants. The satorialist has me obsessed with pant lengths!

Interesting look bit it seems more than somewhat affected. There's a fine line between style and costume and this gentleman has crossed it.

Oh this guy! I recognise him, he was working in a bar at Marais, the reason why I picked that bar in the street while waiting for my friend. He had an unforgettable, alluring outfit and attitude just like in this picture.
