Beautifully controlled palette. Style is reminiscent of late 40s/early 50s Italy… all that’s missing are sandals.

  7. Ideal! Good style!

    Have a nice weekend,

Perfect. Although I am not too sure about the shoes. Needed laced-up shoes, not loafers. The rest is perfection.

Why do I prefer men’s dressing on this blog? It to me always seems so classy rather than the somewhat tacky looks from women…

I second that- it is a pity that this ambivalence is now so deep in our culture.

Bello ragazzo…may he not scruff up his Guccis on the long winding road…

He is totally pulling off the cropped trousers! It’s not every day you see a beret being worn so successfully either. I also love the color palette of his outfit, against the ancient colors of Florence; it’s all so harmonious.

    Simply perfect!

    A reminiscence to France.
And it reminds me of young Johnny Depp when he was still looking cute.

Oh, bless me. I find this so elegant. I quite like the loafers but I understand why some of the people above would prefer sandals. Perhaps it’s good to have someone twist a bit off the perfectly classic line?!

Wow! A 21st century man dressed like a 1930s menswear clad Garbo or Dietrich. I love this hall of mirrors!

This dapper gentleman even coordinates well with his surroundings! I love how his look makes reference to another time without being overtly retro.

    A little too costume-y.
