On the Street……. S. Honore, Paris

I have learned and will not even try to guess his nationality but he does have a very good personal style and love the little flip his hair does.

Parisians… er, people in Paris don’t seem to do colors, eh? All blacks, whites, and shades of blue/grey.

I love the shades in his outfit. The light grey, the white and the black… perfect use of shades that blend perfectly. I think a darker grey would have been a little off with the stark white and the black.

Just wonderful with the surrounding colour scheme and background. Lovely shot.

The pocket square and thin tie just pull this together nicely.

Just enough for me not to mind the no cuff :P

Do like his hair, too (and his smile)–but not crazy about the color-coordination, nor the very rigid collar….

Nice balance of refined and eccentric. Looks like a fun guy.

I wait here for the ‘no cuff’ nazis to appear.

I’m pretty new to fashion, but one collection ive always adored is Elie Saab’s. However, I’ve been checking every day and still no Elie, and i don’t really remember what day Paris week started? Do you think you could help me out, do you know if Elie Saab is showing in Paris this season, or how many days are left? Pleeeeeeease email me at [email protected] or reply on here, i’ve been DYING to know

definitely very nice ensemble …although i feel the jacket is a bit ‘summery’…a little more overcast and you will see what i mean, but still very nice…..definitely agree with hairstyle …which goes with the round tortoises and umbrella.

Panache! And the umbrella, for that final touch of aplomb.

    - Don’t want to steal the thread, but it must be said… I had the best laugh this morning. Been catching up on video clips at Watched the Missoni show, Sept 30th, thinking how it actually made me think of summer, city strolls, the beach. Terrific prints, no colours too severe. Defined lines, but no shapes too rigid, no sterile feel, no vulgar transparency. Distinct and wholesome looks. And towards the end, you hear a man’s voice: “The Missoni show, I thought was great…” Proclaimed with some genuine enthusiasm, too! So my first thought was, I agree. The second thought, Well, that’s an unfamiliar voice. Third, Who is that? Fourth… Haaa. Thank you for a great laugh.

Love the beautiful fabric, the slope of the shoulder and the handstitching!

Yay for the photographs of the Beaux-Arts students on! Those are my favorites of your Paris trip. The boy in the middle is brilliant.

A professor of linguistics at the Sorbornne? His smile reminds of John Gielgud.

By the way, if anybody with no butt to speak of is looking for a pair of great jeans, investigate the Nudie range and, like the Great Sarto himself, go one size down. I bought a pair yesterday at Style:Nordic, this great Scandanavian shop in Singapore yesterday and, quelle surprise, I suddenly have a butt!

THis style conveys a lot of personality, and a impish quality. Adorable.

Eh, really: is there any excuse for this guy’s pants? A notch higher and they could cause him serious discomfort in the armpit region!

Is his jacket linen? It’s lovely and the grey colour is so subtle. Agree that he does look a little John Gielgud-esque too.

Great haircut, I like men who assume their baldness instead of buzzing it all or going for the horrible “comb over”.
