I’m in love. I’m also intimidated because this guy’s style is everything I want mine to be: simple, sophisticated, modern, masculine but gender-exploratory. Love the glimpse of midriff.

Oooooh…I don’t know about that shirt. I think my sister has one similar and it looks better on her. Also, ya gotta shave the neck beard dude. It gives a man a certain homeless quality.

Love the scruff, the hair and the over-sized belt buckle. But I’m questioning the cut of the shirt/maybe just how he’s wearing it – not a fan of men midriff, but he does wear it well!

I am not sure about this style, but the shirt is an inspiration of course. I am curious about your next photos from here.

Florence is really great to shoot men’s style right now.

What an interesting face. At first glance he reminded me of a modern day Rasputin. There is something kind of mystical about him. Again, love the juxtapostion of such a serious face and such carefree clothing. Great shot.

I like the details of the embroidery on his shirt, it’s a bit contrasting with the toughness of the rest of the outfit that screams more of punk-rock.

the facial/chest hair really makes the look with this shirt on

  52. frane

    June 22, 2012 at 1:12 am

This is such an unusual man. His stance is almost graceful/effeminate but then when you look up to his face it is fierce/masculine. The clothes definitely reflect this juxtaposition with an embroidered silk top and the large simple silver buckle.
Overall I find the gentleman quietly challenging if not disturbing.

  64. dobs

    June 22, 2012 at 8:33 am

  65. Fotautomat

    June 22, 2012 at 9:12 am

A sneak peek at the midriff is totally on trend for women… I am actually really liking the cropped top trend on men as well!

Bold, daring and casual. Love it!

  66. Emily

    June 22, 2012 at 9:33 am

He is much more inspiring though than many of the women that I see. He is very interesting.

  67. Lili

    June 22, 2012 at 11:21 am

I love the mixing of modern clothes with traditional ones. It gives a whole new dimension to the latter. The top doesn’t look too small for me. It falls perfectly on his shoulders. It might be too short to some though…Why showing your midriff is “fashionable” for women and not for men? He is not doing it in an effeminate and outrageous way and it makes his outfit subtly sexier while still being very masculine. I don’t mind seeing men undies – well, as long as, they are not sagging – while we can see women bras popping out of their sheer and spaghetti strap tops all summer long without calling them “indecent”.

He can cultivate quite lush growth, eh? Loving how the neck-beard-chestal-fur plays disparate with his willowy limbs–as antithetical as his blouse and belt buckle. I’m thoroughly smitten.

Just dreadful. Can there be anything less sexy than underwear with a waistband with a designers name on it, or a some other brand name?! Do you really want to see a man undress and be diverted by the name around his waist? And it’s even worse to see it walking down the street. No style to this whatsoever. A mess.

    Thats a Nigerian product!
its called a babariga, even though he wears it incomplete!~
    we own it!

and we have the artisans who make em reside near the palace!

  86. j'ecris

    June 24, 2012 at 10:43 am

He’s breaking a lot of rules, but doesn’t quite possess the necessary wherewithal to get away with it. And when people think the band on your underwear says “mom”…well…that conjures up some seriously Oedipal thoughts.

  87. S

    June 24, 2012 at 6:22 pm

I think this man is gay isn’t he? Which would explain the show of underwear (mom!) the cut of the shirt – too short, the belt & stuffed pockets.
Mediterranean men obviously do gay in a different way – in that it is still highly masculine – sexy & confusing to the women commenting here!?

  88. Jacqueline

    June 24, 2012 at 10:29 pm

love this. I literally want to take the shirt off his back, it’s gorgeous. I think a pair of black plastic aviators would be a perfect finish like these Balenciaga ones…
