Great capture, Scott. French and Italian uniformed personnel have such elevated style standards, even when doing the grubbiest of jobs. In most U.S. cities, people in uniforms seem to intentionally be made to wear garments that don’t fit. Maybe it’s a form of ritual humiliation so that won’t think they deserve pay raises.

Wow, no offense to this man, but the photo reminded me of a classic old Honeymooners tv episode. Thanks.

I love it when you feature people not from the fashion industry, it’s a breath of fresh air!

Why not when Raf Simons is passing off fireman’s jackets as high fashion?

This has a utilitarian OFF-WHITE c/o VIRGIL ABLOH vibe to it. Great footwear!

John said it: the French are always aware of esthetics. Give a little thought to each and every occasion and occupation. it’s so much fun to just take a walk through Paris, and look at everyday life. Sanitation workers in my town should get raises, and some uniforms like this to show that they’re appreciated.

Tyvek is underrated as a fashion material. ;-)
Props to this sewer worker. He does a job most of us would never do.
