I dont think I had ever seen a red striped shirt used in this manner, I think it is a bold yet rewarding statement. As always, love the way his suit jacket lines echo those of his overcoat. Other than the color of the shirt, this is a classic ensemble, to be sure, but always in style! Jorge from W Palm Beach

How do you look at this picture and not grin right back? A wonderful example of attitude being everything… then again, I suppose you could argue that being beautifully groomed and dressed encourages a very positive attitude!

What a handsome and well-dressed gentleman! Beautifully cut coat. I think pin-sripe shirts are rather dashing. I want to live in Milan – does everyone always look so good?

I think his smile is his best accessory. To many well dressed people tend to look Too Cool, but this man looks like he loves life!

Great silhouette this guy has–you photographed him before. If he is not, he should definitely be a model. Great shot, Sart!

His curly hair and unrestrained smile are delightful. The combo of the shirt, tie and cardigan make a cheerful picture. The coat is a delicious brown that suits well with the brown shoes. I’m afraid to say that I don’t like the coat’s length and fit.

Gorgeous formal outfit in the bottom photo – love the coat especially, is cut brilliantly to flatter the guy’s shape without clinging too much to the suit.

I much prefer this type of subdued elegance than the mix and match extravaganza we have seen recently being paraded as genius in dress.

As always Matteo Marzotto is dressed stylishly and impeccably with just the right dash of flair. This man should definately be on the Best dressed List if he is not already.

    he is perfectly dressed.
    may be even too much?

  51. Michelle

    March 3, 2009 at 7:01 am

This look is the complete package. For me the guy makes it. If he didn’t have that sparkle in his eyes, and cheeky smile the red shirt would be a lot more flatter.

Brilliant composition by both dresser and photographer!

This is not the first time you have shown a photo of Signor Marzotto and his warm wonderful smile. But when are you going to photograph his equally attractive mother, Marta Marzotto? She is, without doubt, a perfect example of a bird of paradise.

Fabulous. Only in Italy. The shirt rocks. The brown of the overcoat is perfect with the red. The choice of a black tie is brilliant.

    Wow. Ruff!

very elegant and classic outfit (awesome coat), but the red stripped shirt contrasted with the navy tie takes it to another level. also, the fit of everything he’s wearing is superb.

i belive that shirt is indeed gingham and not stripe?
Anyway he looks great here you have a classic example to all those men who like to do the city look and have a “bit of flair” of how not to overdo it a retain a sense of the understated.. this shirt along with the soft brown fabric of the (herringbone?) coat gives it a slightly softer intellectual twist in my mind.
