If prozacs could take the form of pictures….they would probably lcontain some of those.
A perfect mix of reassuring previsibility, conformlity, emptiness….tout va pour le mieux dans le meilleurs des mondes.
So much talent for so little ambition
Guys, you’re not gushing about shower/pool slipper, are you?
Sometimes I think that beautiful and cool people – like this young lady on the picture – wear ordinary or downright tacky stuff just to see how people will react. As a joke. And then they read comments on the blogs, and laugh a little. :-)
Anyway, if I were a “it girl”, I’d do just that, probably by walking around with hair rolls or a snuggie.
I love that the simplicity of her outfit is what drew you to her. Especially when NYFW street style snaps seem to largely be predicated on finding the most outrageous ensembles. There is something to be said in championing for a more streamlined look.
Love the photo! It is funny though to read the comments – how the “Adiletten” of my childhood have become a hip fashion accessory, especially when photographed by a great photographer. There is a story in this picture: perhaps her feet hurt from an evening of dancing in high heels, so she pulled out her father’s shower shoes … just kidding.
At first, I thought, God, I wore those slides to the communal shower when I was in college. And then I thought, what if a Martian landed on Earth and saw those slides for the first time and would not have an association with dingy dorm showers? Could we look at these slides simply for their structure and judge them on their technical merits alone? Would they be beautiful, then?
