The lace underskirt is such a delicate yet powerful detail! I also like the buttons on the coat and smart jewelry.

The light on the bricks is so lovely, I think I would have preferred no one in this picture. Or a pose more interesting.

What a lovely look. I wish I could see the skirt! It brings such a nice twist to this otherwise chic classical look. The shoes look interesting too, we guess the heels are unusual. I could go on and on, love everything about that pic! What a change from the streets of Varanasi ;-)!

the juxtaposition between the two series at the moment is remarkable, and I am not sure how it makes me feel, by turns ashamed of my affluence yet still having massive lifestyle envy

I guess that makes these both challenging and thought provoking, for that I applaud

You caught a timeless moment — the white brick building, the coat, the hair — could be from the 60′s. But also very modern. Love it.

This girl has more personal style than anyone I’ve seen in a long time! Cross between a modern Audrey Hepburn and Kate Moss. This could be an amazing editorial ad. more please!

Love the cape. The pockets are huge and the collar so retro. I used to work at J.Crew Headquarters right around the corner from this spot and it is so blah there. I would go to Utretch Art store or the post office. To see this building with the lighting so elegant, like a late afternoon sun and this lovely girl is so nice. You make NYC look beautiful.
    Thank you!
