Ooh, kinky boots and socks! My only worry (as a previous London resident myself) is the decidedly nippy temperatures in London at this time of year!!!!

When I get depressed about winter approaching here in NYC, outfits like these remind me that all is not lost.

The top photo is great, I like the mix of tans and browns, and I like the balance of the prim blouse with short skirt and tall boots. The third look is charming to me, the soft colors and those amazing shoes make up for the “tube” socks. The second photo…no. I’ve done my time raising teens who wear short skirts, and in my opinion there isn’t anything alluring, inventive or pretty about that look.

The first outfit is stunningly beautifu and efortlessly elegantl. The second one, although I am not a big fan of the gladiators sandals, is very, very sexy. The last one – I am sorry, but is the girl wearing it dying of cold (almost blue thighs) and undernourishment? Very sad photo.

These looks are certainly sexy, but I find them too blatantly so. Mini skirts are sexy, so are overknees. Combining them is overdoing it, imo. Their styles remind me of the hookers who line the Kurfuerstenstrasse every night.

The first look is great–very literal ’70s, but so well-done that it works.
The second look would, to my eye, be tackily, performatively “sexy” without the sweatshirt, but that oversized sweatshirt gives it a whole different spin that actually works well!

No, no, and no. Haha! At least the first one has great boots, bag and a fun skirt, but the blouse looks like something at the bottom of a vintage store $1 basket that should have stayed there.
