Who is she? She’s awesome. Looks like a traditional Romanian blouse (ie). Love the modern take on it, with that leather skirt!

The slightly self-conscious expression is endearing. Her hair is beautifully shaped and the blouse is so classic and pretty. Very feminine, if that is permissible in the PC way?

What a gorgeous looking woman! Her expression is very “who, me?”. Her hair is wonderful. Not personally keen on the shade of the leather skirt – bit too ‘skin’ for me.

    • Phyl

      October 6, 2014 at 3:19 am

I agree in full: I love her hair, her smile, the blouse… but I don’t care for the color of her skirt, because it’s a hard color to pull off. Maybe oxblood or cognac would be easier to look good in. Although this particular woman doesn’t need any contriving to look good!

Romanian blouses are most commonly crepe and the embroidered motifs are traditionally slightly different. This one is almost certainly Ukrainian. Its anyone’s guess whether her motivation is aesthetic or political. Or some combination of both.

It’s kind of the same idee, but a bit different.
