Now this is a very fashion forward gentleman. I admire the freshness of an all-white outfit & his earrings rock! :] // ☼

I can’t even make fun of the man purse – it gets lost in all his glory!

Well Sevan, seems even very open minded people do not want to comment the pic…

Not a fan of the outfit(s). Neither artsy nor conservative. But bold i guess. Here to read the comments.

While the white looks oh so fresh, the overall look is a little too nurse Ratched for my liking.

from the angle of the shot, he looks to be wearing a skirt…if so, ROCK ON!
My husband has finally done what he’s always wanted to do and added skirts to his wardrobe! Not only kilts, mind you…he’s got a great CDG black quilted A-line, for instance. I can’t wait to show him this image of a fellow traveler!

The gentleman’s ‘don’t mess with me’ appearance rocks!

Um, am I the only one who thinks he looks like he was just discharged from a psych ward (minus the face/earrings/wine glass, which are fab).
I’m all for white on white — after all, it’s the biggest summer trend — but the bottom half of this just doesn’t work for me :-/ Props to his originality!

no I was just gonna say that too – the lack of pants doesn’t disturb me but he sure looks like someone who got discharged from the psych ward….

looking box fresh ….and styled for comfort!

good idea to steer clear of red wine here too…..

I like the contrast of white clothing against his skin. But the dress is unflattering and doesn’t work with his great hair and earring. I like the outer layer (vest?), but the bag is too small. No.

  13. kiwiocker

    June 11, 2014 at 8:55 pm

Mmmmm. Very interesting. Not one to judge but… the little white bag seems a little too little. The guy seated has a certain look on his face, but then, what is he wearing on his bottom half? Love this photo!

Kanye´s cousin just couldn´t stop telling his friends how good it felt to feel like a real woman. This has nothing to do with clothing but about an eccentric little girl trapped in a boys body who ran away to join the fashion circus. There I addressed the elephant in the room. Let the rebuking begin!

Yes, he is technically a transvestite; a man wearing (very stylish) women’s clothing.

I’m all for men wearing skirts. If it works for you, why not?
But is shaving your legs mandatory?

Conchita says hello! Great to see men dress in dresses, and sport beards.

It’s amazing how long it has taken men to start wearing dresses. Women emancipated from wearing only skirts and dresses some time ago. It’s time you guys have a bit of emancipation movement too ;)

  26. Alex

    June 12, 2014 at 6:17 am

Certainly bold, but I’m not loving this outfit. It is bold yes, but way to obvious, screaming you into the face bold with the earring and everything. Subtle elements make a way more lasting impression!
    xoxo Alex

      June 12, 2014 at 9:47 am

I agree. I admire his confidence in wearing a dress (I have a few myself, as well as a variety of skirts). But that confidence does not equate to style. He hasn’t pulled it off here. The bag is too petit, the earrings too garish, and the trainers too bland. Plus the all white thing doesn’t do it for me and his hair is too immaculate. The only interesting part of his outfit is the jacket with the multiple cords detail. Take that jacket and the dress as a base and start again…

  33. Cyrus Pavel

    June 12, 2014 at 9:34 am

i agree that this look has little to do with the clothing, probably everything to do with the brands, and certainly all to do with the individual, which is o.k., but where is the fashion? Make sense?

  34. ana

    June 12, 2014 at 10:19 am

Hey Scott, did you told the guy to shave? If he wants to look like a girl, it’s ok, but someone should tell him, that girls shouldn’t wear hair on their legs.
It’s beautiful and above all, hygienic. Also, not ridiculous.
    Come on!

    • une chatte grise

      June 13, 2014 at 3:19 pm

Ummm… the whole point here is that there’s not just one way to “look like” a man _or_ a woman. Arbitrary gender constructs are silly and oppressive, no matter who they’re being applied to.

      • RogiD

        June 24, 2014 at 8:09 am

It’s not the whole point. It’s you’re point that you’re assuming the subject would agree with. You’re probably right, but it’s also kind of silly to see a cropped photo out of any context and assume you understand what this man is trying to “communicate” with his outfit. I mean I guess we have a certain trust in the Satorialist that he’s not going to bother posting a bullshit photo, but for all you know the man was paid to wear that outfit for an event.

I find something very sexy about a dual-gender-presenting person and I love that he (ze?) is confidently projecting this image.

  40. jennifer

    June 12, 2014 at 2:40 pm

I don’t think he’s trying to look like a woman at all. It’s like when a woman wears menswear-inspired looks – he’s wearing a womenswear-inspired look. Still masculine but with nods to the feminine. I like it!

  41. Zoey

    June 12, 2014 at 2:56 pm

The tiny bag is throwing me – maybe if he had a tote or an oversized clutch?

  42. Jeremiah

    June 12, 2014 at 3:37 pm

I wish I could see this from another angle. Here it looks a bit like he is wearing a bathrobe. It looks comfortable, though. I’ll give him that. Nothing wrong with a man in a dress, or with hair on the legs of a man or woman. But even if we’re towing the line of convention, if a man doesn’t need to shave to wear shorts, why should he for a skirt or a dress?

  43. Topol

    June 12, 2014 at 8:09 pm

Fashion forward? He looks like a co-worker on her nursing shift, although she would dress better.

    No. Just … no.

  44. Patricia

    June 12, 2014 at 8:26 pm

I’m quite open minded, but I honestly I am not used to seeing a mannish man wearing a skirt and a very dainty purse. It really looks weird to me!

  45. Pam

    June 13, 2014 at 10:45 am

It looks not quite right. The garment under the jacket is ok, but would look better styled longer, and lose the jacket, which makes it look like a sweatshirt was grabbed at the last minute. Purse could look ok, cross body. What did the shoes step in? Not the best logo placement.

I forgot what I was going to say… Oh yes, if daft is good, then this is, er, not good!! A nod to transgender? Possibly but without finesse.

How can guys get away with unshaved legs when women are judged if they don’t?

  48. rahrahrah

    June 13, 2014 at 8:59 pm

To each his own. Totally unappealing. If a woman were wearing it would still be uninteresting, though she may still be found attractive.

  51. NBI

    June 15, 2014 at 10:39 am

Sometimes these great events at Kenzo and whatnot seem to create this “who will get shot by the photographers the most competetition”.. Correct me if im wrong, but i bet this isnt his everyday wear. This is only because its Kenzo. Let the fair ladies do the skirt business :-) And scots.

Not my cup of tea, but bold i must admit. Very :-)

  52. Pippi Hepburn

    June 15, 2014 at 1:16 pm

Just, no. Even look at the expression of the man he is talking to. Again, just . . . no. Even his sister could not rock that mistake, I mean outfit.

  53. Greg

    June 15, 2014 at 1:25 pm

Very unique dressing. It will take alot to pull this off but regardless, It depends on how you carry yourself, people will begin to see the “Art” you portray

I get more suits, style and fashion inspiration @

  54. Simon

    June 16, 2014 at 6:46 am

No, just doesn’t work as an outfit .

  55. Energie

Get rid of the dainty purse and replace with a clutch; get rid of those silly sneakers and put a pair of heavy boots on, and voila.

Looks very comfortable. However, I would chuck the little purse and add some color. The problem is when wearing a skirt or dress like this, is where to put one’s stuff. I would use a canvas postal bag, medieval style leather pouch, or something similar.

The concept of long sweatshirt has been explored with Thuggies, but they really have bold colors.
