On the Scene…. At Billy Reid, New York

I saw this young lady standing in the back section of the Billy Reid show on Friday night.

I couldn’t help but notice how serene a person can look when they’re doing something they love.

Look at how gracefully she holds the camera, like a musician holding an instrument.

It wasn’t a big or ground shaking moment– just a small, nice moment.

other than she looks very keen to what she’s doing, she should also be in front of the camera too.

Your observation here really connected with me. She does look as if she’s enjoying that moment and I think the fact that she’s shooting with a rangefinder makes her a certain kind of deliberate image maker.

That is an M7, not a M6. As you can see from the front, if it was an M6 the words “M6 would be visible, but on an M7 (identically physically) the branding of “M7″ would be hidden by the position of her middle finder in the second and third photos.

The M6 branding says “LEICA M6″ and would be visible whereas this was changed with the M7.

@ Daniel , Well perhaps her left eye is better than her right one and that’s why she uses her left. I am that very way. It’s not nice of you to think that it “defeats the purpose” as if it were due to ignorance or something. I wish I could use my right eye for photography, ceratocone won’t let me.
