Had a look at Miu Miu a few hours ago and … I’m confused or missing the point. The furs were acrylic? And actually cool to wear? Or for an Indian summer, or for those who spend some of their time on the other side of the world? Ditto the coats? Or was this collection meant to be an ironic statement on the unseasonal seasons that now prevail in the collections?! (It DID present in the Spring Summer RTW 2016, didn’t it?…)
Regardless of my lack of understanding, I’m looking forward to seeing these clothes in greater detail in the print campaign.

i often like miu miu shoes but not other pieces. but the outfits, as they are styled on the catwalk, are very cool! :)

not diggin the fur. the racoon tails are disgusting. i’m not an animal rights no fur person, i’m just a fur is disgusting and needs to be left on its owners type of person. that includes their tails. yuck.

I am not in for fur either, (esp. for summer-spring!) however my major issue with this collection is that I do not see a main theme apart from recycling of previous ideas. I love the brand and mostly their leather goods, but honestly it does not have the same allure on me through the years.

It’s a mess, like so many of the spring shows. The Dada movement has invaded fashion. Duchamp would have loved it.

I think many people, misunderstand the point of a runway show. You don’t need to wear the ‘exact look’, that was portrayed on the show. If you want to, then do it. You purchase pieces you like, and mix them into your own way. Personally, I loved ‘some’ of the shoes in this particular MiuMiu collection…not all…’some’. Why get so hung up and serious? Kill joy… =S

    Snazzzzberries… xo =)

like the tunic over sheer pants… interesting silhouette, but the raccoon tails seem gratuitous

Gotta say, the darker skinned women look awesome in these saturated tones. The model diversity makes the clothing feel more approachable and realistic — and worldly!

Love the “kids from Hunger Games” comment, especially as I thought the first picture looked like Hermione in Harry Potter before she grew up!

I don’t know why but this reminds me a Louis Vuitton 2011 Fall collection…I see recycling ideas in this Miu Miu collection…
