I like that Dolce&Gabbana step aside from historical and retro themes (which they do perfecrly) to make something new in their significant style. Fairy-tales is a great idea.

It’s like Joan of Arc and her Maiden Warriors were playing cut-and-paste in a wintery garden of fantasy. I love the strength and severity of the chainmail like headwear, boots and gloves but it looks amazing when clashed with the childlike motifs of woodland creatures on the coats and jackets etc. In a way it is still a Sicilian remix but I love the way that, at last, they’re moving away from the near-exhausted them of their home country. To me; this collection felt more northern and as if it were conceived in a log cabin in the deepest, darkest forest. Thank you Stefano and Domenico for bringing us something fresh, different and surprising!

Thank God someone is showing that you can wear flats and still look gorgeous, sexy, fun and elegant. Beautiful looks.

I agree completely! Theres an Audrey Hepburn kind of elegance to flats that is so often overlooked. Paired with the whimsy of the clothing in this collection I think it was a perfect decision.

Dolce & Gabbana has moved away from being tacky to being beautiful.
