WOW! What an amazing presentation! Love how, despite how busy it is, the clothes stand out. A very cheeky way to show a venerable brand in a [seemingly] accessible way! Very creative!

One thing about KL @ Chanel … he’s also doing something different.

However – his motorcycle gloves are a little too butch

Wow! How amazing is this! What I was wondering while looking at all the pictures on Instagram, did people actually get to take some of the Chanel goodies home? Does anyone know? Or where the boxes empty, just for show?

Great idea to show the clothes in a more sporty way with the sneakers in a supermarket. I love it!

Just goes to show you that creativity can and does accelerate with age! karl lagerfeld, again, comes up with a brilliant statement about how women live now!
Once the “sneakers and suit” ensemble was ridiculed as the pragmatic choice of the “Working Girl”, somehow oblivious to both style and femininity, yet every day, everywhere women are putting together looks that reflect their busy lives with humor and panache. School drop offs, gym ,job, shopping, meetings and back again means track pants, sneakers, tweeds, coats…layered looks for layered lives!
Lagerfeld’s eye is sharp, his wit even sharper. Attention Shoppers!

“Creativity” with a heavy dose of tackiness! Seriously; when women dress like this in Australia we call them “Cashed-Up Bogans”. How much do you think CHANEL will charge for those ridiculous workout suits filled with holes? I could replicate those looks for around about $30.00 (possibly less) with items purchased from my local supermarket or maybe an op-shop.
Granted; some of the clothes do look amazing and could be worn alone but together as a complete runway look they are mediocre attempt at a “working mother” type theme. Also; what on earth is that 2.5 bag that appears to be food in a tray? Karl doesn’t seem to be short of a gimmick these days!

Painfully skinny girls pretend shopping for groceries…..In a world filled with starving people some might think this is just a tad obscene.

But what is” fashion” if not frivolous pandering to the rich and the self-obsessed? On that level, this is a great success.

Who ever he has within his team, he needs to keep because as a team their ideas always bring something new, even if the complete lack of ethics worries me. Saying that why do I expect ethics from fashion?
    Orginal and brilliant!

Very interesting. Cheeky but fun way to present a runway show. I can’t help but feel oblicated to comment on how aggressively Chanel has been to push its goods (from head to toe) out to the consumers. Chanel Boy bag in all sizes and colors are everywhere. It is embrassing street culture by having sneakers and casual backpacks (albeit a very pricey one). I hope that it won’t go the way Marc Jacob is going, targeting the high street buyers’ price point.

Could this be Chanels take on surrealism? After all, the women that can afford a brandnew Chanel outfit are not likely to go shopping in a supermarket. To them this must be a true surrealist adventure ^-^

I once stumbled upon a quote made by the venerable Karl Lagerfeld in a magazine. One goes something like this “Sweatpants are a sign of defeat. You lost control of your life so you bought some sweatpants”. Well, aren’t those sweatpants featured in Chanel AW2014-15? Particularly the opening piece – A PAIR OF SO CALLED TORN PINK SWEATPANTS worn by Cara Delevinge. So how do you make of that? Can see the contradiction? Or just an irony? Time and time again I have stressed Chanel is in need of a new blood urgently.
