At Pitti Uomo…Pink Scarf

I notice the pink scarf first but equal to that I also notice his overall well-groomed appearance, but he doesn’t seem to fall into the trap of being an over-groomed metrosexual.

He might be this or that sartorially but above all he’s hot.

I like this look; understated, but with a burst of sharp colour. The antique chestnut oxfords look beautiful.

Great style and hot guy too! I saw this look in the Netherlands trip, especially in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

This is very nice–particularly like the slimness of it all; the coat, even though buttoned while the guy is seated, still seems to fit nicely….

I like the spot of green on his tie but do not like the bangle on his wrist. Overall, he’s well done though.

It’s a great photo – I just have difficulty looking at anyone holding/smoking a cigarette. (I live in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada – LOCATED WAY WAY NORTH OF SEATTLE, WASHINGTON)

The little knotted bracelet on his right wrist adds individuality to his look and makes him look comfortable in his skin. I like it.

Really nice look, but that cigarette ruins the whole thing. All I could think of is that this otherwise good-looking and beautifully groomed man must reek of stale smoke, and it is in his clothing, hair, and skin. Unfortunately, he only looks good from a distance; up close and personal — yuck!

A dandy…a flanneur. There’s a great word for this guy in Spanish: senorito. He’s fabulous.

Is that a suit? I am guessing yes.

Is it black? Again, I’m thinking yes.

If so, I appreciate the brown shoes (although a bit more rugged than I would have chosen). Another example that the “Style Guy” Glenny O. knows what he’s talking about when he says that brown lace-ups can be pulled off with everything.

This is the first time I have been truly stirred enough to post. While I would not consider myself an extremely fashion-conscious person, I have respect for those who are and I enjoy seeing your excellent photos of well dressed people. This man looks absolutely excellent. I wish I could look as good as him.

Yep, that is a spot-on look.He doesn’t look like he’s trying at all. It’s the ease with which he conveys this great, groomed look, that makes him look quite great.

i often wear chesnut shoes with a black suit and in the past people have given me grief for it… nice to see someone else doing it with such style.

come on Sart, what the hell is this all about…who knows what is accidental or intended…the comments all tend towards speculation of considered style and character. He looks good, but is this ‘a look’ or just how things fell together…get a grip everyone!

I agree with the well groomed comment. If he was part of that poor ‘metrosexual thing’ he wouldn’t look as good as he does!

I love European men. Exactly the reason why I married one. My German husband is a vision of sharp dressed, handsome, and amazing manners, great glasses, *and* an accent. :)

Love your blog, this is great!

I could kick myself in the a**. I bought a beautiful pink cashmere scarf, and didn’t have the nerve to wear it, so I donated it to Goodwill.

This guy looks stylish, yet fashionable. There is a difference. Very Euro-cool, and relaxed. Europeans have less hangups about how their gender-association is perceived by others.

I’m going to buy another pink scarf.
