I say finally! Up until now gli uomini were putting le donne to shame, in my opinion. But these are excellent. The first is a great shot, with all the black in the background, and the simple unkempt flower girl in the front obviously outshining all of them. Piu, Plus, more!

Taking a cue from the ladies at Go Fug Yourself, the pants on the last woman are RIDICULOUSLY long. You should always be able to see your shoes. Always. Plus, it’s Italy — how could she not want to show off her shoes?

Maybe she’s secretly barefoot. I’d be tempted to go barefoot for garden cocktails, too.

Black skirt/big glasses lady looks like she just stepped off the runway. Love it.

But I have even more love for the first picture. Not as dramatic fashion, but the elegant simplicity, the natural hair… she really is a study in quiet confidence.

I have loved MJ for Louis vuitton since his inception – however whenever I wear his pieces in nyc people ask me whether I have made the clothes myself! I am always strangely flattered yet somewhat insulted….I got that alot with the Prada winter 05 jackets as well……after dropping 3 grand on a single piece now I can’t shake the image of me at home with a butterick pattern and a mouth full of pins!

These coments are proffered only in nyc….does anyone else get that here?

The setting looks very pleasant. The first girl is my favorite. Very simple and summery.

There are many fantastic things about all these photos and all the women in them: They’re not homogenous. There’s a paucity of silicone and phony blonde highlights. They are all individuals. Each stands out in her own wonderful way. This is refreshing; where I live (SoCal), many, many of the women’s tawdry “looks” are cookie-cuttered to death.

Does the heel strap remove and redeem the top lady’s flip-flops from flip flop hell? Comments flip flop haters?

The ‘simple unkempt flower girl’ in the first shot is Camille Micelli, Marc Jacobs’ right hand woman at Vuitton and the House’s new jewellery designer. Believe me, she spends HOURS working that ‘just thrown on’ look. The third woman is Camille Bidault-Waddington, stylist for Marc Jacobs’ mainline and the wife of Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker. She always looks like a bit of grooming wouldn’t go amiss – but then that’s London girls for you

The last photograph is very nice. The women looks like a sculpture, because her right hand is in contact with her chin, it seems like she is thinking and because of her eyes, they are looking at the infinite.
I like very much the colour of her shirt and trousers. She is so elegant!
