Interesting trend. I like how Marie (#3) does it…

I love their confidence!

Like the first one!

I agree…. The young lady from Paris definitely has the best take on the basketball shorts
October 31, 2014 at 4:43 am
Me too. Right away I liked the third one. Its sleek and classy looking.

i like the first 3 and i looove the first! cool idea! :)

the first pic is very cool and original… I like the lapel

The first two are passable (actually number two is the best)–the last three photos, to me, there is just too much going on there to be fashionable. Logos or strange combos ruin the look. Basketball shorts just distort the body shape if they are too big. It just looks sloppy in my opinion.
Mimosas and Me
The second look works but i don’t know about the rest. I’m nor really a fan of the oversized ones. They all look too boxy

The first look is so cool! Faux fur would also make a good hem. Inspired! http://lafemmefactor.com
not sure i can get behind this one. great shots, though!

Personally, I still think that Basketball Short should be matched with sneakers / NIKE Flip Flop or Birkenstock. With high heels, it’s a bit over fashion. Love the pic #1

ok so now I kinda need a pair!

Women’s bball shorts look horrible on the court, and they look no better on the street. Yikes.
October 30, 2014 at 11:09 am
Love the first pic!
October 30, 2014 at 11:18 am
Yuck! These shorts are gross! Take them away! Good photos though.

The looks are complicated and are not in harmony …it looks like they just jumped from bad and they think we should think its stylish…
October 30, 2014 at 1:16 pm
Not a fan.

I’m personally glad that the female bellybutton is making it’s presence once a gain…I thought they all flew south with the monarchs. Pity the bellybuttons didn’t escort the baggy shorts with them and leave them there though!
October 30, 2014 at 1:37 pm
Well, they make basketball shorts look really good! Still not a huge fan of the trend though
I’m all about comfort, but not when it makes me feel like a sack of potatoes

Amazing shorts! I love the first one
October 30, 2014 at 2:18 pm
I love these photos, the clothes are great!

Yet another example that the key to fashion is being born beautiful.
October 30, 2014 at 2:46 pm
I like that pants. xaxa

Weird to me that these are being called basketball shorts. Only a couple of these might qualify. I’d like to see the top ones on any urban playground court in the US, would be pretty funny. This whole concept makes me feel like the fashion world is just out of touch with the rest of society, and not in a good way.

love the first shot – does anyone know what model those nikes are in the first image?! they are fab!
October 30, 2014 at 6:01 pm
Love the idea of sports wear mixed with different style to make a gym look more trendy but the heels go a little to far!
October 30, 2014 at 6:02 pm
I love how they are flowy like skirts!
But I’ve got to say, that last outfit is none too flattering… wearing those shoes and dark shorts cuts the legs off visually.
October 30, 2014 at 7:36 pm
They all wear it in so many different wines – a celebration of creativity and different points of view!
October 30, 2014 at 8:02 pm
It’s great to see the contrast between the sportswear elements and the more fashionable pieces. The shorts are rather like 1970s culottes.

The second look is nice. Just needs some refinement & given a parisian chic makeover…. Great photo!

Third photo is nice. Great look just needs some parisian chic refinement. Again great photo…..

I kinda like these, especially the third look!
October 31, 2014 at 4:45 am
The third photo is perfection. I love the shorts, the long sleeved top, everything. Its immediately impressive. But all of the looks are cute, except for the first one, that nude hip thing is somewhat crass.
October 31, 2014 at 4:59 am
I am agreement with the majority about the third photo being chic.
October 31, 2014 at 6:25 am
Only my opinion but: Beautiful women… Remarkably unappealing shorts.
October 31, 2014 at 2:49 pm
I knew the moment I saw Ursula with these shorts on this blog that a trend had just started. This woman is beyond fashion creating it. I also think it is only a matter of time before the “basketball” shorts start appearing on the runways in a slightly more refined version. And many of the people frowning on them now would be wearing them pretty soon…I am much more interested in seeing the evolution of this trend than the see-through-lace-skirt-without-underwear-one…

Funny that all three of them are taking pictures. Aesthetically, I find the “basketball shorts” hideous, but maybe there is a vibe behind them that I’m no longer young enough to catch…
November 2, 2014 at 7:07 am
Don’t know about the basketball shorts.
November 6, 2014 at 12:29 pm
Not only do they have the right attitude, but, coincidentally, all of the models are physically beautiful…genetics are a random bitch. They could wear plastic bags, and pull off “a look”.
November 14, 2014 at 7:56 am
third one is cool & well-balanced!
