Love the plaid combination in this amazing detail shot. Somehow the socks work the sandals too this time..
March 17, 2014 at 4:25 am
Finally no sneakers! I don’t understand the hype of sneakers combined with everything…, although the socks …. it is girly and cute, but with those shoes…maybe I’m too old because I believe that high stilettos are cruel also . LOL

exquisite!! i love it: the shapes and the colours! :)

I like the idea, but not the shoes, so much.

Socks and peep toes is one of these things I would never wear, but feel very envious about those who can…
March 17, 2014 at 10:15 am
Me too – it looks wonderful if you can pull it off. I would just look silly. Ho hum………..

The layered check prints, the chunky socks in ladylike heels… It’s all perfect.

Sexy look, love the socks and heels.

Plaid and tweed with a hint of spring.
March 17, 2014 at 9:59 am
Love it! The socks and bow heeled shoes are adorable! The checked on the layering just finishes the whole look off!
March 17, 2014 at 10:05 am
The rib knit of socks makes it work …keeps on the flow of lines from the coat and skirt.
March 17, 2014 at 10:18 am
I love tartan and… omg! I need this shoes!!!
March 17, 2014 at 10:23 am

Just gorgeous! The lines & proportions are absolutely right, each piece is lovely on its own, and the look is retro without being replica. *applauds*

I’ve never really been a fan of socks with heels but this actually looks really nice. great shot.
March 17, 2014 at 5:33 pm
lovelovelove….love the anklets with the heels..love the colors…love the patterns..love the texture…
March 17, 2014 at 7:14 pm
Ah, the grey woolen cuff under everything hits shoes too.
March 17, 2014 at 7:15 pm
I have never understood this combination. Socks and shoes seem silly on anyone over 12. I don’t get it.
March 17, 2014 at 7:34 pm
Good choices. Socks with shoes… and I like the combinaison of colors. Rétro et charmant.

TOO hot for that!
March 18, 2014 at 1:20 am
I’m a great hater of high heeled shoes and socks but I love this. I particularly love how the goosebumps on her legs pull the whole look together. (By signalling how cold it is – cold enough for socks, that is. )
March 18, 2014 at 5:28 am
Ooooh how I love this look. I’ve tried this several times here in Köln but people simply don’t understand it. People look at me as I’ve gone crazy, friends criticize me harshly for being so yesterdayish. Seriously for now, I gave up :(

Cozy and pretty.
March 18, 2014 at 9:21 am
As I scrolled down the photo, at first I thought it was a close-up of a man’s sleeve and cuff. I like the combination of masculine and feminine in this outfit, but I really dislike the whole socks and sandal thing. In fact, I’m far less offended by socks and Birks.

Love the shoes with the pretty plaid skirt.

This is so 1950′s. I see Jessica Lange as Patsy Cline…
March 18, 2014 at 3:39 pm
This made me smile.
Love the shoes!
March 18, 2014 at 4:02 pm
Velvet, wine heels?? Can I love her from a distance haha.
March 18, 2014 at 4:32 pm
… and now a big grey sock under everything, following sleeves and turtlenecks?
March 20, 2014 at 2:04 pm
The goosebumps on her legs seal this picture for me. Pretty close to perfection, well done!
