Love B&W! One of my favourites of this season…and ever!
June 3, 2013 at 9:20 pm
I couldn’t agree with you more. This photo reminded me of an archived photo, http://www.thesartorialist.com/photos/on-the-street-cynthia-manhattan/. I practically drooled over this photo. I love Fashion and while Trends, for the most part, serve their short-lived purpose, I will forever and always embrace and swear by THE CLASSICS. Classics transcend through the seasons, even more so in the archived photo, with the pairing of a classic white button down and black slacks. Then, to ice the cake, a pair of neutral/nude oxfords, adding even more visual appeal. I’m going to stop here before this turns into an article.

Totally, totally agree, Dee. I appreciate your “article”, lol.
Mr. Satorialist is doing an amazing job of catching “naturalistic fashion” (*my* term) this season in the US. And maybe, “fashion” is indeed leaving its forced necessities behind itself. Let us hope so.

Nailed the look and moment. Her shades and hair are fantastic.
Summer perfect! Light and loose fabrics, errand running sandals and fab sunnies…what more does a city girl need? Cheers

June 3, 2013 at 10:28 am
I don’t know. She kind of looks like one of those guys in front of the coliseum. All she needs is a sword.
June 3, 2013 at 12:34 pm
Huh? I wish I understood your reference……..anyway, I think she looks chic and wonderful.
June 3, 2013 at 1:56 pm
I don’t know why but I get what you mean.
Thinking of Rome now …. wishing that summer will arrive soon.
June 3, 2013 at 4:44 pm
Could be the legs.

Go, mr Torres! ;))
June 7, 2013 at 5:30 am
I think she was referring to leather sandals, short skirt – gladiator…
but not sure why she was put down by you and called “Not a Fashion Person”.. Sweety

Super cute look!
Modern and fresh, from her hair to her toes. Great look .
June 3, 2013 at 11:31 am
Killer sunnies! So what’s gay city?
June 3, 2013 at 11:51 am
I love how you’ve managed to get a “runway” shot at either late morning or early afternoon with no one around. The concrete is washed out to allow for the subtle blues and greens and the vibrant yellow and red.
A little desert within the city.
June 3, 2013 at 12:02 pm
Amazing pic! I’m looking for this kind of sandals, but still can’t find a perfect pair. These ones are just so amazing!
June 3, 2013 at 12:11 pm
P.S. Scott, I’m sure you’re a very busy man, but I was recently going through your older posts and saw that you responded to a question posed in the comments area. I then thought how special it would be if you did that every now and again, not necessarily to a question, but just a response to a few comments made. Just a thought.
June 3, 2013 at 12:15 pm
So pretty, I love her short hair!
June 3, 2013 at 12:24 pm
Great posture, great sunnies. There is only one detail that could be better, the too visible hem seam.
June 3, 2013 at 12:25 pm
I love gorgeous legs in the morning.
I guess I also like them in the afternoon.
Come to think of it, I love them at night as well.
OK, I confess! I love gorgeous legs!

Perfect photo and I really like that simple outfit like that. Very nice.
June 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm
I don’t know if this is something you would be willing to do, but it would be really interesting to know what lens/settings some of these photos were taken at. This photo is so crisp and lets in tons of light, the sidewalk is basically pure white, but the subject is not over exposed nor does she appear discolored.
June 3, 2013 at 2:12 pm
This is one of those rare shots where the sun kisses everything and makes it better…
June 3, 2013 at 2:38 pm

June 3, 2013 at 2:52 pm

Love the look. She definitely keeps up with trends. She’s got the monochrome black and white, the sandals, and of course the mirrored sunnies. We love it!

What’s going on – your BEAUTIFUL pix getting better n better? Or have you so influenced us that the entire planet is improving its style? I do suspect that is happening even here in Huonville, Tasmania. Or have you just opened my eyes?
