I love the first photo, the outfit of this man, the manner he holds the cigarette between his fingers

The first one is amazing. id probably like the second one if it was by itself, but comparing it to the first one is unfair.

The second shirt is pure perfection!!

Love these images. These printed shirts are fantastic – especially love the second image, with layers of print.
The 3 F's
That first shirt looks like it is made of the most luscious delicious silk. If hermes made that into a scarf, it would be an instant classic.

The first print I think overwhelms the wearer, the second is sublime!

I think I know the guy in the first pic =)

Hate the first one, love the second one.

I wouldn’t mind wearing the second picture’s “over shirt”.
It’s a great transition piece and could replace the cardigan nicely.

My vote is for these two divine shirts! I’ll just have to write them in on the ballot.
October 11, 2012 at 8:52 pm
The first outfit wouldn’t work without the rolled-up sleeves, the crew cut, the thin waist, the tailored work pants, the cigarette.. but together, it works. And so well!
October 11, 2012 at 9:14 pm
About time! Also a nice switch from floral prints.

Oh I really really love Phil Oh shirt, it is very unique. It seems like it was inspired by chinese ancient clothing. I don’t know how and why I have this feeling but it does look like that. I really this type of clothe, I think it would also be worn by a girl without any problem (I would be the first to do so if I had this shirt !).

The print mixing trend within the same clothing item is so awesome! A while back you posted something about small prints on shirts being the next big thing – so true! In my opinion, it makes prints – usually loud or vibrant – more sophisticated.

I really like the second look! The print & colors on the T-shirt are just subdued enough to steer the shirt pairing away from “trendily clashing loudly” territory while keeping it interesting. And while matchy-matchy is usually obnoxious, in this case, the matching wine shades in the shirt and pants help to keep the look grounded and un-clashy. Well done!

Love these prints! Been seeing a lot of men’s tie prints on various pieces of clothing lately. Does anyone know the actual name of this type of pattern?
