I want those shoes!! Anyone know where they are from?
October 12, 2011 at 10:45 pm
Khaki Daniels shoes? Love those. Banker to shoe maker–girl after my own hart. What ever happened to the line? Is it still sold anywhere? Certainly can’t find them in SF anymore…and wore all of mine to bits.
As usual beautiful, poetic and insightful photo. Thanks!
October 12, 2011 at 11:01 pm
i love everything that’s going on here. especially those shoes.
it looks comfortable, easy, and beautifully put together & i love that pop of orange color.
October 12, 2011 at 11:08 pm

October 12, 2011 at 11:18 pm
Such an enchanting blouse, and adore the pops of color the bracelet and heels add to the already chic outfit.
October 12, 2011 at 11:26 pm
My opinion is that this type of woman could wear almost any kind of style. She is naturally classy.

I second ‘The Photodiarist’, LOVE that bracelet!
October 13, 2011 at 12:49 am
This would have been a very dull shot had she not been wearing the bracelet.
October 13, 2011 at 12:57 am
Nice…perfect. Based on that captured moment (even if the pose was set-up, it doesn’t matter)..what a life. Ah, and those shoes are absolutely the best

I love the colors in the print! … And the sunglasses =)

Very unforced, natural glamor!
For me – very New York style!
I love the shirt, great shorts. Shoes borrowed from Anna Wintour? ;)

Love the bracelet!!!
October 13, 2011 at 1:30 am
I LOVE these candid shots!
October 13, 2011 at 1:33 am
To me it seems that she is trying very hard.
I’m not a fan of this mishmash of quasi-unique pieces that don’t portray any sort of innovation or personal style. Looks . . . trendy.
October 13, 2011 at 1:36 am
Her colour coordination is amazing!
October 13, 2011 at 2:00 am
yo, can’t really tell what’s going on with the outfit but my girl is working an ankle. go ‘head, girl! hurt ‘em
October 13, 2011 at 2:17 am
I love the mix of differentprints and texture! She’s gorgeous!
October 13, 2011 at 2:22 am
Fantastic. The colours go together trough out the whole picture. The black in the blackboard-the black in the shirt-the black big A. All the brownish and beige colours. Walls, bag, shoes, basket in the window, table, coffee mug, pattern on the shirt, the frame around the blackboard … and so on. At last but not least the corall orange braclett. Outstanding.
I love your eye for colour and form.
This outfit I could work in like a flowerperson. Exept the shoes :) I have to chose converse. High heels a whole day, tiring. And I am Swedish, Love my converse ;)
Have a nice day.

I love this outfit, and the coffee! I haven’t found a coffee house yet in Paris, and am still on the lookout! Lots of cafes and espresso, but not a big cup of coffee :)
The mix is just perfect here!

the bracelet is timeless and just perfect !
October 13, 2011 at 4:18 am
Love love love the look, but…
The look could have spared the orange bracelet. I know it is supposed to be a splash of colour in the nude combo but I do not think it matches. I would have prefered something hot pink or purple.
Whatever, let’s not be mean. The picture is very nice again!
Kisses from Greece!

Beautiful kimono with flower prints on it!
October 13, 2011 at 4:55 am
This kind of pictures always puts me in a melancoly, and romantic mood.
even though the cafe is in NY she could be in any city in the world. It is like a movie scene .
October 13, 2011 at 4:58 am
I love her shoes!
October 13, 2011 at 5:00 am
I wish I could see here bracelet more up close. Looks very pretty!
October 13, 2011 at 5:02 am
This is the perfect look. I’m sure it didn’t take her 5 minutes to get dressed but it has a great ‘I just thew this on’ feel which is brilliant.

Love your pictures because you always catch a casual moment in the life of an ordinary person for eternity… and, in this case, I also like the outfit…

the shirt and the bracelet…GORGEOUS!!
Everything works brilliantly together…gives such a casual yet so classy look. ^^
October 13, 2011 at 6:02 am
Love the shoes,
October 13, 2011 at 6:10 am
Lovely. I wonder how you make your legs that toned. I run, and I doubt I am any bigger, but my legs don’t look like THAT. Plus, I always have bruises on my legs. Hers are smooth and perfect. Oh well. Good for her. She looks great.
October 13, 2011 at 6:21 am
I love this pic’s atmophere!!
October 13, 2011 at 6:48 am
Sigh… perfect from head to toe!
I love that her watch band matches her shoes. The coral bracelet (it does look like coral?) plays off the idea of a tropical printed shirt (even though her print looks more asian). And the skirt is just shimmery and fun! Great hair and a gorgeous bag to boot.
She’s also just got a great demeanor – poised, but relaxed and approachable.
October 13, 2011 at 7:10 am
What a fabulous shot – i adore that outfit – simple, eclectic, flattering and all her own x
October 13, 2011 at 7:11 am
Bien à toi! Très résussie!

heeeeyy, she is Ece Sukan. She is one of the top models of Turkey. I always like her style. She also takes photos for Vogue Turkey editions.
October 13, 2011 at 8:01 am
i think what makes this shot here are the ray bans (obviously) and the girl’s gorgeous legs! Shoes, bracelet and all the rest: i find them too predictable.
October 13, 2011 at 8:05 am
she is ece sükan from vogue turkey. she is a remarkable fashion icon in her country.

Cool style! just perfect!!!
October 13, 2011 at 10:46 am
I adore the bracelet and her shoooes!
October 13, 2011 at 11:06 am
The bracelet soooo doesn’t work that it works. I’m inspired to be more adventurous with my accessories. Although I hope that isn’t real coral but just beads. As an ecologist is really detrimental to an ocean’s ecosystem. But, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt!
October 13, 2011 at 11:45 am
What cafe is that be?
October 13, 2011 at 11:54 am
Sublime. I’m a *big* fan of the pop o’colour accessory thang.
I think this look would work well with a casual shoe, too.
October 13, 2011 at 12:35 pm
I love the whole nude thing going on here, but what really makes the photo is the amazing length of her legs.

I want her shoes and her top, they’re so pretttttttty :)
October 13, 2011 at 3:40 pm
Ohh, she’s so chic. This must be taken after she left the Occupy Wall Street protest. Things were crazy that day. So she decided to pay $6 for an iced coffee and purport to be sophisticated. She’s not actually into that lifestyle. This is simply performance art.
October 13, 2011 at 4:06 pm
ece sukan from Vogue Turkiye.I miss her vintage-eeclectic style more.loved the bag.so it-bag now.
October 13, 2011 at 4:09 pm

October 13, 2011 at 4:26 pm
Ok, I’m convinced – I’m going to dig out my vintage Ray Bans and have them cleaned and repaired…
October 13, 2011 at 4:41 pm
Hues of brown as many as these remind me of a desert landscape mirage. Simply stunning!
October 13, 2011 at 4:46 pm
AH this is so gorgeous. The whole outfit is completely effortless but corresponds perfectly. I particularly like the choice of shoes with everything! Great shot.
October 13, 2011 at 4:47 pm
Love the blouse, can anyone ID it?
October 13, 2011 at 4:51 pm
It’s surprising that such a bright and orange bracelet fit to her outfit, but even though the colours don’t match completely it looked great! Started a new blog over here in Stockholm Sweden and I’ve gotten a lot of inspiration from you and your story. Check it out! :
