Those folds are IT, man!

oh, what a dress! what a girl! love her style!
September 6, 2011 at 9:47 am
Baggy harem pants like these would be a cinch to sew. I like how she’s head to toe (almost) in black. The strappy, navy-heeled flat sandals take the chocolate cake!

September 6, 2011 at 10:18 am
What a stunning shot. Black socks with sandals? She can pull it off.
My Black would go on and on ...
September 6, 2011 at 10:20 am
The continuation of black extends the silhouette nicely. Comfy and stylish; the best kind of stylish, in my view.
I would try this…..
September 6, 2011 at 10:36 am
love the silhouette! and those shoes! the whole look is so simple yet so interesting :)
September 6, 2011 at 10:43 am

Such an interesting and cute look. I love the drape of the skirt/pants.
I love the fact that she is using Canon g(12?)…I remember when I first got my g10 and everyone thought I was so cool.. now everyone and their mom has one.
P.S. Paris Fashion Week is just around the corner.. I am hoping to see you on the streets!:)

J’adore le noir ; je porte un vêtement noir ou un accessoire noir tous les jours.
Ses chaussures sont très originales. Super look

I’m not sure if this is a dress or pants – but I love this look and she is totally rocking it!

Adore how the simplicity of her jumpsuit draws focus to her beautifully, electic shoes.
Hmm. I can’t say that I love this outfit but I appreciate the style, thought that went into it!
September 6, 2011 at 1:26 pm
love the all black! ESPECIALLY the camera!!
September 6, 2011 at 1:58 pm

I LOVE draping! And Jumpsuits. So this is just perfection!!
September 6, 2011 at 2:06 pm
Wait, are those PANTS?
Oh I hope so.
Oh Lord please let those become fashionable and ubiquitous. They look so comfortable!
September 6, 2011 at 2:16 pm
Typically I am not a big fan of all black but with those shoes it just works perfectly.

I’m not sure if the “no socks with sandals” is applicable in this case, picturing the alternative.
September 6, 2011 at 2:27 pm
really great shot, love that she’s not looking at the camera..
September 6, 2011 at 2:42 pm
love the shoes.
September 6, 2011 at 4:12 pm
absolutely stunning! exactly what i think of when i think of italian fashion.
September 6, 2011 at 4:20 pm
A jumpsuit? Harem pants and a tank? A new type of skirt? Whatever this is, it’s stunning. Love the shoes and the way she added black socks/stockings to keep the monochromatic look going all the way to her feet.
September 6, 2011 at 4:22 pm
Simple shapes, simple colour palette, snazy shoes – lovely.
September 6, 2011 at 4:33 pm
That dress, those shoes, too cute.
September 6, 2011 at 5:13 pm
Beautiful Photo! :D
Have a Good Day!
September 6, 2011 at 5:26 pm
Who thinks cutting the tops off of a pair of bowling shoes and wearing a tarp around one’s waist is a style statement and not just crazy homeless? (I’ll admit the fact that she looks clean, not insane, and is sporting a $500 canon point and shoot)
vintage engagement rings
September 6, 2011 at 6:47 pm
The socks and the sandals are cool!
September 6, 2011 at 8:15 pm
The dress (or jumpsuit) is flattering to her figure, and she’s pretty enough to get away with wearing socks with sandals. One way to tell if something is actually chic or cool is if a normal person could get away with wearing it. If I tried socks with sandals people would probably point and laugh, lol.
September 6, 2011 at 10:18 pm
It is pants and a tank top, pretty obviously. Cute sandals, and a pair of socks. If anyone is confused. I am so glad the Tokyo session is done, It just wasn’t as inspiring as this. Funny how two posters think that this is Tokyo style, as it is not taken in Japan at all!!!
September 7, 2011 at 1:14 am
No. Socks and sandals are not a good idea. On anyone ever. Let’s stop the blind adherence to what some misguided hipster stylist for J.Crew is telling us is a good idea. The rest of her is perfect, just ex the grandpa feet.
September 7, 2011 at 1:55 am
i love it!!!
September 7, 2011 at 2:40 am

September 7, 2011 at 3:49 am

This is indeed an interesting photo – her feet are poining one direction and the shoulders another one. It’s as if the lower body is separated from the upper body, and the only thing that makes a connection is the jumpsuit :)
Great timing shooting this :) amazing
