Oh, I really love these coats and outfits. They are divine and inspired!

    1) Gorgeous oxblood colour, and I like the unexpected white print on it. Never seen it before.

    2) I LOVE window pane! You can’t screw up the tailoring, either. This dress is so striking – you’d see it a million miles away. I’d wear a print this bold even if I AM too short for it.

    3) The gloves and bag are a bit weird, but who cares? Fabulous!

    4) Never met a purple coat I didn’t like. Love the neck wrap, too. And the shoes! You can walk in ‘em!

    5) The pants are a tad wide and the shoes a tad masculine, but whoa, what a striking outfit. Reminds me of Judy Garland in the late ’50s, early 60s.

    6) My eye goes to the accessories – the neck wrap, bag, and shoes! The colour blocking on the bag is awesome.

Tried on the coats with big shoulders like the purple one above. They simply look too big for me. It may be the coats I tried on though (rather than the concept of the big shoulders). Maybe it’s the fabric, the cutting of the sleeves, etc. that make the big shoulders not work. Of course, it may also have to do with the way the shoulders are padded. This is a very tricky silhouette to construct!

the coat in the first picture and possibly the make-up oddly remind me of romeo gigli’s visions in the late 80′s/early 90′s. i like these looks.

Now THAT is the way to handle stiff, broad silhouettes! The other collections are all excess without any control. Bravo.

I have to agree James, I love this new direction for the company and the silhouettes are brilliant.

Love the collection. It is very classy. The third look is absolutely divine. The square hat and sweater combination is fantastic.

Very chic and very modern. Not just oddly shaped the way so much of the collections are now.

I am just finding out about Tod’s. I always assumed it was an American company selling comfy loafers. But then one day my husband told me while we sailed past on the Vaporetta, that is the yacht of the CEO of Tod’s parked right there at Zaterre (Venice). We looked it all up and know now that it is an Italian company.

I love that white outfit. Yes, possibly a tall woman would carry it off best.

And what an idea: you can walk in the shoes!! Hurrah!!

Just love the black and white outfit with hat – there’s got to have been some Katherine Hepburn influence/referencing happening while that look was getting worked through – gorgeous.

I love your photos of these very chic designs.
However, it seems I can’t download any pics from your site currently (for my little collection of faves)…have you changed something recently??
    Ciao, L.
