A beautiful girl, but there’s WAY too much going on here. Her looks would be much better served by a minimalist palette.

Me too – the pieces don’t “talk ” to each other at all

I don’t know. I actually kind of like the way her outfit looks “thrown together” and interesting, because it doesn’t match perfectly. I think that the neutral hues of her skirt and sandals help make it work (for me!)

Really nice and summery, but seriously, there are cities other then Milan, Paris and NYC. Can’t we see one of them?

Che cosa e questa? It looks like a clash of palettes, actually: neutrals versus primaries. I’m sure Jenny could help this girl navigate her way to one shore or the other and achieve a better disciplined sprezzatura.

Stunning photograph. This attire is far from the traditional but goodness it has the “hey look at me thing” in glorious color. There is a thing called tension that adds to a look and a gentleman with a floral jacket over a red military(?) inseam does have some of that. Personally I think a military sabre would be a nice fashion accessory to this outfit. The lady’s use of rainbow color is lovely to my eye as are both the subjects of this photo.

    The gentleman looks great.
The girl is beautiful but the technicolour dream coat is distracting from her good looks and the rest of her outfit.

A beautiful woman wearing headache inducing clothing. This REALLY jangles my brain.

I see the neckline of her top compliments the colors in the coat, maybe she would have better shown off the coat with a pair of white pants . The skirt is out of place as are the sandals.

What a beautiful girl in lovely and creatively assembled clothing. She looks like Ally MacGraw. If the gentleman beside her expects to enjoy her company for a little while longer, he might want to take some style cues from Steve McQueen rather than Jim Bob Furleigh

      Agreed. Ali MacGraw’s doppelganger.

I LOVE her whole outfit and she is totally able to pull it off! Not sure why people are not getting it?! Applause the combo! I would love that long rainbow jacket, the sandals, and the colorful trimmed top. I think it is very well put together!

      I don’t think ” people aren’t getting it ” is the problem. The look isn’t cohesive . It’s not
      Visually pleasing . That’s all .

Personally, I have and like a much more minimalist style. The coat/cardigan is wonderful and could actually be highlighted by being worn with something plain but matching underneath. IMO, of course. Still, this gives me wonderful ideas about how to customize/adjust various items with a crocheted edge! This is how The Sartorialist works at its best!
