It does remind me of the Le Smoking photo with the cigarettes, but while Newton’s shot has an icy sort of louche sexiness, this shot has a much more organic-feeling sensuality.

Yes a pastiche of the famlous Helmut Newton shot, Scott must have seen that crucial moment, as usual… I like it! So much that it made me forget how much I hate smoking, if only for a few seconds.

Effectivement cette oeuvre d’art photographique de Scott rappelle celle, extraordinaire prise rue Aubriot a Paris en 1975.

We are in a strange world. The magazines crie “Healthy is the new sexy” and we all agree on that, but now we are in love with this picture of two smoking women. Scott gives us reality. A world without cigarettes and alcohol would be pretty boooooring ;-)

Ou les prenez-vous sur le vif et après vous leur demandez l’autorisation ?
