Beautiful photography but I don’t get the sartorial angle here.

The beautifully fitting great quality coat. The upturned colar. The cropped slacks over tennsi shoes and socks. These are all very of the moment, very well done details. I can see how someone that isn’t looking at details would miss them. Thats the “sartorial” angle, although this blog is not a clothing blog. It is a style blog.

Is it not too big for her?

It hasn’t yet schronk to fit!

I concur…ill-fitting coat and do not find any sartorial value to her look whatsoever.

It fits her to perfection. Look at the shoulders and sleeves, and the way it drapes. Coats are not supposed to be tight, and the length is perfect.

The blurry guy in the window is the interesting point in the photograph!

Pretty woman, but I think she’s making the coat work too hard to make a fashion statement. I can understand the love for the coat, but sometimes you have to leave “old friends” at home.

Just gorgeous, great proportions. Plus, cigarettes have always elongated hands to great effect.

…Elegance is also the way how she keeps the mobile on her hands ….

Even though it’s Spring in Australia, I wouldn’t mind wearing that coat because it’s so gorgeous xx

This is such a great relaxed look, love the colour of the turtleneck with the coat! Great style.

Lovely coat, but it’s too big for her and quite wrinkled at the bottom. She should take better care of it.

      Agreed. Crinkled clothes never work.

Great proportions, plus- a cigarette has always elongated the hand

Great style. I love the coat, and the wrinkles are no big deal. They happen. Most people are not so uptight that they have a steamer in their house. And a touch oversized is fine. The important thing is the proportions work. Everything looks luxurious, and lived in.

I’m loving the trend of wearing white sneakers with everything… I hardly ever seem to take my white leather Supergas off!

This is my ideal in terms of “high-low” style – that coat is perfection!
