She is very cute (and I love this square in Milan). However, the Hermès is too formal for her. I grew up in a world of shirtdresses, no longer like them, they are very stuffy, even worn with sneakers.

I think she looks perfect. Shirt dresses are completely timeless. I love wearing them in the summer, and am collecting quite a few. They have that perfect 1970′s sleekness, and I love anything 70′s preppy. So clean and simple.

yep, she stole her grandma’s bag and she shouldn’t have. the blue colour scheme makes this pic interesting though! :)

I love her style so much! I love how this gorgeous dress looks with the pair of white sneakers and the pop of color of the bag. Amazing!

Though the girl is pretty, she gives the impression of ‘laisser aller’, of somethnig ‘not clean and neglected’: too many heavy accessories, the dress is too long, and the sneakers ‘trop déjà vu’ and not clean.
    Dommage…

The bag does not work with the outfit.

The shoes detract from the fresh look.

    Pretty girl nice retro dress.

She is very pretty but her choice of clothing and accessories is somehow ‘jarring’. Maybe the bag is too ‘designer’ for the outfit. I am not sure, but something is off kilter here.

I agree, the shoes seems off if the bag is like that, otherwise it’s a nice outfit.

Perfect dress, make up and bag. Very cohesive. The tennis shoes make it even more fresh.

I am reminded of wearing a very similar look in Rome, back in the ’80s and my brother’s Roman girlfriend at the time told me I dressed “like a German.”

Aryan?! You are aware of the connotation of “aryan visions”, aren’t you??

I wonder how you know, Maudie, what Robert Sharpe “meant” or not?

Is this a Furla belt? I got a similar one with tiny apples instead of elephants and a light blue HM shirt dress. I copied the look today and I felt great in it. Instead of the trainers I chose a simple pair of bronze sandals and completed the look with a fuchsia Longchamp pliage. Thanks for the wonderful idea!

I’m a sucker for women in shirt dresses. This looks great, even the sneakers. The bag is nice counterpoint to casualness of the rest of the look, not to mention the two shades of blue is a nice touch.

I love the dress, her braid and belt but I’ll pass on the status bag and sneakers, something just does not click for me.

I think her mix and match is totally harmonized and cool! I also love wearing dress with sneakers.

Looks perfect. The Birkin goes great with the shirt dress and the tennies. Everything about this is perfection.

The dress or trouser-suit is lovely. It cannot work with that bag and those sneakers.

I don’t think the bag is really Hermes, maybe a replica. If you look at the pleat on the side, it should be there …it’s not! Birkin has an outside pleat. I agree it’s too precious for her age, though!
