As I’m looking at this oh-so-carefully curated outfit, the thought occurs to me that I can’t pin her age, and that her age would give me insight into what she’s trying to say …. however, I do believe she looks delightful in a Dorothy from the Wiz kinda way. Fun statement, indeed.
This is a great outfit.it has a distinct vintage feel but I am pretty confident that the majority of its individual elements are more or less contemporary.she looks like an excited school girl but she could well be the CEO of a state of the art startup.
Love the red that ties this all together: Hair ties, lipstick, shirt, cherries on the lapel, and finally the socks. Even the russet of the coat and shoes (and the warmth of the bag) add to this (yes, countyd) “oh-so-carefully curated outfit.” And I love how it’s all so straight from top to bottom, then there’s that little ankle tilt. Precious.
This is proof that red is a great color, and people should not fear wearing it.
That said, I don’t go for an adult woman evoking the image and energy of a child. That is undesirable terrain in several different ways and it’s best for the individual, and all of society, really, to avoid it. There are lots of other ways to be creative with one’s appearance.
