Jacket, shirt and bag are first rate.
The trousers and shoes I don’t rate.

i love her make up and net. the rest is forgettable, but i guess it’s not at all a bad idea to do a dull outfit with a punch of something (here, red lipstick and voilette) :)

i love the contrast between her vintage style hair, veil and makeup and her modern choice of clothes.. well thought out and not screaming… “fashion”. so refreshing!

There is like 2 women in one the first part is more “historic”the second “ground to hearth”..

Two women – that was exactly my thought! From the waist down, it could hardly be worse, imo. Unless one is very slim and leggy, culottes shouldn’t be worn with flats.

Her pants remind me of traditional Japanese Hakama pants for Aikido. I’m sure this lovely Madame has a good foot sweep….. =) xo

    The head is exquisite but…..
How are we supposed to wear the cropped wide legged pants? I have a couple of pairs that I love but now that it’s no longer sandal weather, what to put on legs and feet? Short tapered boot seem best, but are they? stockings/socks?
When I wear the look, as above, that is with flat shoes and socks I look clownish……What’s the answer?

I don’t think there really is a way to wear these pants without looking shorter and wider. Which is fine if that’s your thing, but I don’t know that it is many people’s thing. It’s kind of a silly trend up there with mom jeans.

I agree with Maggie, but if one feels one must wear them, I recommend short tapered boots with heels or Mary Janes with heels – and tights, e.g. small-meshed fishnet, not necessarily black. No socks!

I love the way she’s blended the retro pincurls, redlips, and veil with such a effortless modern sensibility. Head to toe vintage can be overwhelming; she gets it just right. Bravo!

I love her look from the neck up, but I think I’m just too uncool to get it from the neck down. It looks frumpy and ill-fitting to me.

Great look! Especially the little hat! So cute!

Starts from exquisite at the top, but as you scroll down, ends up at abysmal by the time you get to the shoes and gauchos.

Perfectly styled. it all works together. Especially like the shoes and the hair.

Her confident air saves this. However the look of the lower half isn’t pleasing to the eye; it would work if her legs were longer, or the pants tapered. Following trends without giving consideration to whether they work with one’s own “configuration” does no justice to either the style, or one’s figure. I speak as an oddly-shaped person.

I reckon her real outfit is in the bag and she will change later – her hair, makeup and headpiece are beautiful.

A mix of opinions, thats fine. My kicker shoes do have heels ;)

I love to mix styles together. Buffalo boys and girls of the 80′s are a big influence on me as well at the romance, style and elegance of the 1920′s and 30′s.

I am wearing my hand made ‘Love’ navy head ornament with veil.

Thank you again to Scott for taking the picture, really nice to meet you.
