She is adorable, but her dress reminds me of 7th grade sewing class circa 1965.

I’m sorry to ask, but what is exactly between her upper teeth and lip… big gum? Again, I’m sorry but is disturbing to me

purely the underside of her upper lip!

      Hi Alec,
I believe it is something called “double lip” It’s like having an outer lip and then an underlip that shows when you smile.

Yep, that is a real (beautiful) woman’s face, and you are right: that is her gum. Her gum shows when she smiles with abandon…without a care that there are some dudes out there who find her smile disturbing. “I’m sorry,” you write. About what and to whom?

Good question! That having been said, she’s perfect – a young Brooke Shields.

Love the romantic look of the blouse worn in a very modern way.

I like this girl’s look, but…. she is thin as a rail! Please get some meat on her!

Alright folks, let’s call it a day with the asinine body shaming. Why do you get to decide if she is too thin? Why does Alec decide that he doesn’t like her smile? Let’s give it a rest and recognize this gal for what she is: effusive, beautiful and stylish.

No body shaming was intended on my part: the girl in this shot is lovely, as is her look. But, healthwise, a few more pounds on her frame would do her a world of good, especially in the future. Think of ostheoporosis and similar that afflict very thin women. The equation “Thin = Beautiful” is neither a given nor part of my mindset. If anything, I would say that living a healthy lifestyle, in all respects, is the key to true beauty and an investment with good returns for tomorrow. No one is 20 forever.

I was that thin at her age and ate everything in my reach. I was also very healthy and active. I am now a rather “filled out” middle age woman who has to watch every morsel. She is lovely. Youth doesn’t last. She should enjoy it.

Me, too (that thin at one time)! And you know, I was totally healthy but never felt very comfortable with how I looked because of folks like those above who would never think to comment on a heavy person but feel free to dish it to a skinny one. Health and beauty are pretty personal things…commenting on someone’s style and how they wear their clothes is cool. On their physicality — what we can’t necessarily control — just is not. Anyway, I too am not quite a few kilos heavier but still just as healthy and now am not quite comfortable because there’s a little far roll or two involved. Maybe at the end of the day the real lesson is to ignore those who have an opinion about how we look and just enjoy what youth — and later, age! — have to offer each of us! Anyway, the gal in the photo is gorgeous and I’d love to have her figure these days. Hope she celebrates youth and beauty now and age and beauty later!

I love her smile as well. Just noticing that while everyone admires a woman and her smile, no one says to the picture above “Hugh” that he should smile, or gain/lose weight.
