On the Street…Fashion Student, Milan

I don’t know why more young fashion students don’t try to get into fashion shows?

Most shows have a “Standing” section and the press people are usually happy to fill any seats in the second, third or fourth rows.

More importantly it’s a great place to make contacts and see/hear what the fashion crowds are doing at the shows.

I’m all for helping young fashion students but sometimes they have to do more to help themselves.

They should place fashion students on the first row as they are the future…at times one almost has to barf seeing those celebrities trying their utmost to be celebrated…same goes for the old school fashion editors and critics…this girls charming smile looks so much nicer than those sourpusses!

Totally agree with you. Fresh and inquisitive minds! The celebrity row is SO boring.

No one should be “put” anywhere. Those older editor “sourpusses” worked to get where they are, and therefore deserve it. Just because someone is young, doesn’t mean their mind is fresh, btw, and just as an older mind is not necessarily stale. If these fresh young things want something, they should work to get it. A charming smile comes easily when you haven’t had much reason to stop smiling.

    Super cute shoes.
And yes, students in the front. They are the most relevant people there.

Delightful as she is, the outfit looks more lunch in the park than front row.
    Nothing wrong with that.

Its a cute summer outfit, but she doesn’t look like the type to end up in the front row anytime soon. She looks much more have fun with friends then work on career sort. Something tells me she comes from a well off situation and doesn’t really need a career.

It’s me the person in the photo and you’re so wrong mate. Ended up in first row three times and I’m not at all from a well of family, I worked myself up on my own. And im not looking for a career as you assume, I don’t want to work in the fashion business, I did it for fun. Take a chill and enjoy life more without sitting somewhere assuming things you never knew and never will know. Live your own life.

She is very cute, with a lovely smile, but I have to agree with earlier posts, I’m not sure I want these young things editing world class fashion magazines. Age does not close a mind. In fact it does quite the opposite, at least in my experience

I love how crusty people become behind the facade of their computer with their comments about a picture! Why can’t we just enjoy the picture and enjoy how lovely and inspiring this young woman’s beautiful smile is? On another note, fashion shows should be for all who enjoy them. After all, celebrities ARE NOT the only consumers of high fashion. Have a wonderful day and stop being so crusty….life is too short!
