She looks so strong – a modern red riding hood, ready to take on this wolf of a world.
I love her stance more than anything she is wearing (and I like what she put together), but the gaze, the wide stance, her grip on the briefcase – very confident. But then the pigtails throw in some fun :)
She reminds me of Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale but instead of red, navy!!

Great look and very urban appropriate and safe. Sexy for any man with all his senses. Yet predator-proof for that unsafe element worldwide. Boots to move or deliver a clue when need be.
She looks like a precocious shcool girl. Love the ponytails and the neck tie. I bought one but haven’t had the guts to wear it. http://whichmewillibetoday.wordpress.com

Reminds me on a Photography by August Sander: Anton Räderscheidt in Cologne. Look for it!
Woah, she’s totally awesome! The plaits are so well executed, and the pants being green instead of normal black or blue is just totally wicked. This chick is radical.
Amazing quirky-preppy style! I love the convoluted way of tying her shirt, and the burgundy bow – it’s like a funky version of my Oxford University Sub-fusc uniform…
I love her look, she just seems as if she’s mad about something, but it doesn’t bother her. I would love it if you checked out my blog, I have interesting fashion posts you might love to read.
I love how a look can be so much more impressive in a certain environment – I’m not sure any other street would’ve highlighted her awesomeness this beautifully. But without a doubt – pure greatness. It’s like a mash up of red-riding hood (in this case marine tartan jacket fiercely worn) meets prep school meets equestrienne.. and then the stance. What isn’t there to love??

Hey, is this the same girl you shot in London in February? The braids, the bows, the briefcase… ttp://www.thesartorialist.com/photos/on-the-street-new-oxford-street-london/
I love the affect of this nearly black outfit, causing the viewer to see primarily her silhouette. Our eye is drawn up by the plaid shirt to her collar, bow-tie, pigtail braids and the quietly strong expression on her face. Quite well put-together.
What a fabulous shot. This looks like a page right out of Vogue magazine. As always, perfection..the outfit, photography, all of it! http://www.casualglamorous.com
I remember the other shot that you took of this girl, about a year ago.If you compare the two photos you can see that her style is not only interesting but also consistent.I admire that.
I love shots like these – a completely empty street with all focus on the subject. You inspire me so much. I really like her stance and those high-waisted trousers.
Oh, wow, here fits everything. The hair with the blouse, the coat with the pants, the shoes with the case and how she is looking at the one , who watches her. She seems to say: What are you looking at me? I know that I look wonderful, like from another world. And this fantastic background. On of my all time favorite photos.
Really. Most extraordinary. Laura Ingals’ grand daughter.
I love the green pants. And her facial expression. Somewhat mysterious.
The briefcase is too much for me, mainly because it only complements the dark “little house in the prairie” look and does not make any sense in utilitarian terms.
My, where do you spot all these extraordinary people?

Its like a sexy little red riding hood… who isn’t wearing a red riding hood and she looks like she could take care of any big bad wolves without breaking a nail! Lovely photo! Great color for jeans.
Let’s face it. If you’re going to wear one of those Laura Ingalls Wilder tops in New York, that’s the stance you’re going to need to take.

Wow! This is the essence of the Sartorialist.

They manage to wear, with great integrity, clothes that could look all wrong on another person.

Its like a sexy little red riding hood… who isn’t wearing a red riding hood and she looks like she could take care of any big bad wolves without breaking a nail! Lovely photo! Great color for jeans.

Quite certain this look was modeled after Leslie Caron’s opening outfit in Gigi. It is a remarkable modern adaptation and strikingly similar.

I love this outfit!! Her Wednesday inspired braids really work with her polished look. The colors are so warm, perfect for Fall.

Yes. I have to agree its definitely a “Gigi” look from the movie. The cape, the hair, the way she stands. its unmistakeable.

Let’s face it. If you’re going to wear one of those Laura Ingalls Wilder tops in New York, that’s the stance you’re going to need to take.

She almost looks “unreal”, as though this shot was staged!
I love this kind of looks!

a very individualistic look that says ‘like-hell-i-care-about-what-people-say’ … very endearing :)

99.99% sure her wicker brief was purchased at my store in Nashville. I believe I sold it to her myself. I recall her.
