I like this look very much. It’s nice to see how they both played with details. The lady with a red lip and bag, the gentleman with tucked in corners and metallic belt clip. I think I will try this one!

Should the title be ‘Bandanas & Bateaus’?

      Alliteratively and nautically speaking, yes!

        Cute, very cute.

I enjoy these images so much! All elements are classics but both she and he look like they’ve given us something new. That red bag – delicious! My favourite elements, aside from ALL OF IT, in both photos between the contrasts of red and khaki, then the red and deep blue. And does accessorising come any better than both of these?!
        I loooove this bloooog…

I totally agree. What I really like about the look is how classic it looks while also being current. xo

that first pic is so 90′s grunge. Cobain would approve. i love the army jacket but i’ve never gotten into the high-waist jeans thing. great shot though. the sunglasses are the best, with her hair piled all messy on her head, i love this photo.

If you think that looks like 90s grunge then you weren’t around in the 90s.

Love the stripes , pops of red and green etc., But I always think of this combo for an early spring day ,not very fall like. Although the I also like the idea of seasonless dressing.
    Well done NYC.

There are artist that paint, sculpt and carve, but the men and women you photograph are true artist of fashion. Effortlessly cool in every respect.

I love how a simple accessory can change everything. The red seems like a tiny detail, but it adds a lot of style and joy to these outfits.

I’m not really into bandanas…I prefer the stripes…

Both looks are great.. like the red bandana as an accent. I love the glasses, especially the woman’s round sunnies.

I learn so much from the comments on this site. I love the stripes and bandanas too, but didn’t really twig into the khaki aspect of the first. Shots of red in the accessories are wonderful. What I was going to contribute was that it’s wonderful to limit the colour palette in this– red, navy blue and khaki with shots of white. In the second, red, navy blue and white.

The red and the blue are hard to beat in terms of classic and timeless style pairings..

The outfit works but the gym time gives it a great assist.
