I love these photos, full of beautiful details! In the first burgundy sandals, print pants on the second and the clutch in the last … Awesome! http://heelsandpeplum.wordpress.com/
i’m so predisposed to love a marni show that i also believe the women outside the show always look better as well. love the whole look in that second photo.
Love all the bundling up done in the first pic and the lovely print on the pants in the 2nd…but what really caught my eye and brought on a bout of nostalgia was the furry thing in the 2nd shot which I am presuming to be a handbag but which I initially thought was a muff…I so loved the matching set (ears and hand) I had for my Christmas outfit when I was a little girl.
For me, they are the only thing that doesn’t work in these three pictures… They seem awkward, like her feet are fighting to stay put. The rest if her is so comfortable and elegant.
I love the Marni look, especially in the first photo with all the grey accessories. What a great idea! Grey arm warmers, grey hat, grey scarf and grey stockings. It really works. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your photos are so iconic in this series….I especially love the one of the woman with the coat over her head, because although it’s a very humble and authentic photo of her, it’s quite expressive, and it still manages to make her look chic. Job well done.
I don’t know how these ladies can wear sandals (with socks of course) with such low temperatures, but it looks great! Also pumps without socks, or stockings in the winter, I admire those woman who just go out on the street dressed like that. However, here in Germany it’s to cold in February for that, so I have to stick to boots, ankleboots, and warmer stuff… I’ll put on my heels when I’m in Spain.
Great pics,
Jana
