I found this book on the life work of David Douglas Duncan at Harper’s Books in East Hampton and I couldn’t love it more. To read the stories of his adventures in the pursuit of breathtaking images is so inspiring to me.

Actually, it’s a little spooky because reading his book is like reading about my life, just not my life. I have no idea if this is a rare book or not, but if you love the life of being a photographer, you’ll love this book.

Of course I’m not a photographer like you are, but I love art, photos and taking pictures, also being pictured (it happens when I have jobs as a model, not in fashion). And every book that’s about traveling, living and photos, is interesting to me.

Did you know that Germany is THE place where people buy more photography books worldwide??

We love this kind of books here!

The photo of the Zar dancers is beautiful. The rich colors and textures remind me of my trips to North Africa.

I love that book – I own the european edition named “Nomad” (“yankee” was a controversial word in the 60′s). The pictures he shot hanging in a tube under the wing of a WWII fighter with a 12-image Super Ikonta… DDD is still alive, 97 years old.
