Well, a whole bunch of men out there simply aren’t terribly adventurous with their attire, and these “boring” shoes suit them just fine. And, while they may be boring, I think in person they most certainly make a statement, even if subtle. While I love a great shoe, I put most of my flair into my shirt, tie, pocket square, and socks. I feel my shoes, then, don’t need to say much.

Compared to, say Santoni or Sutor Mantellassi shoes, I think these Borrelli shoes have the danger of being too boring.
Any other opinions?

Borrelli shoes are currently made by Sutor Mantellassi and soon Santoni

Well, that’s not surprising since making shoes is something that takes a lot of knowledge & tradition.
I do think that Borelli’s order would be more ‘nothing fancy’ shoes than Snatoni’s own shoes

For me, the shoe being simple is one reason I love these shoes. This is one of my few shoes that goes with everything and will never go out of style.
