This picture is fantastic. The two white jeans men seem to by a kinf of bodygard or angels. And the guy in the middle looks like a little shy boy illuminated. So beautiful. http://lapensionmermonts.blogspot.com/
I feel white jeans ONLY look good on WOMEN,and please do not get me started on the way the man in the middle looks. Nice picture but none of them would do well on a Saturday night in the Fort Worth,Texas stockyards. mr. john.
The only time I wear white pants is on the golf course, but not after Labor Day. The two gents’ in white jeans are showing power/status…why not? The man in the middle: his impeccable grooming and nice tan justify the distressed jeans/sockless look.
As much as the White jeans add light to this photo, I think the visual balance of the white jeans to the dark clothing on the upper part of the men’s outfits is too extreme. If the men wore scarves, with a pattern of whites and light tones, like the man in the middle, they would have brought light upward on themselves, balancing the extreme light to dark ratio more.
My eyes filled with glitter love dust as I read your post the sun splits into a sizzling array of multicolored diamonds as waterfalls across the world twirled and tranced into a turquoise splash of joy, excellent post love to you and your blog X Mercury Moonshine Dutchess
Ralph Lauren does white jeans under the RRL label, though they might be a little too straight leg for Sartorialist readers. Incotex does great slim leg white trousers in cotton hopsack – kind of a midpoint between chinos and jeans – designed to be worn rolled with shoes – I got mine from Mr Porter.
Love white jeans. Every spring/summer I whip them out. Usually don’t see them on guys in ireland but my boyfriend looked very handsome in a pair on white trousers recently. I’m still trying to persuade him to let me put the picture up on my blog. I haven’t given up yet on it so watch this space :)
