Amazingly, even though I'm from Singapore, I have actually been to East Troy about 20 years ago because a college friend used to live there. A really small town.

inertubes on a lake I remember that when I was a little girl a cousin of my dad had a farm and a lake and wild strawberry fields sweet memories

Often have to wear shoes in lakes due to rocks or mud or growth on the lake bed.

I remember swimming at a lake in the later 50's. Wearing sneakers in the water was common because the bottom of the lake was usually muck and the shoreline rough with rocks and pebbles. They look like navy blue Keds.

When I swim in the Red Sea, i always wear shoes because the sea bed is rocky and full of tiny broken shells that could cut your feet.
I like the picture. She seems pensive even with her back to us.

The hair is so perfectly coiffed. Just screams for a dunking.
Black and white photographs are so beautifully evocative. They leave more to the imagination.

Noooooo way is did Wisconsin just make the Sartorialist. Not only that I drive through East Troy a couple times a week. (Though I must say, not my first choice for a honeymoon, ha)
