If you missed my initial post, here are the instructions again.
- The subject line of the email should read “Vintage Photo”
- The photos will only be posted here on the blog, so the file size can be very small (no bigger than 700kb). I DO NOT need hi-res images, they take too long to download.
- Writing a little something about the image you send will make your entry much more interesting for all of us.
- Email your photos to: sartorialistvintagephotos@gmail.com

I like old photos very very much! I wrote on my blog about man whose name was Boleslaw Augustis. He was taking pictures for people in Bialystok (Poland) in 1935-1939. His films with photos were discovered in old shed by two young guys. People from Bialystok made huge job with recognizing people and places on the pictures! It's great story, pictures has big artistic value! There were so many artist around the world, that we will never know!

For a city kid, I did a lot of fishin' growing up; mostly off City Island in the Bronx. In my twenties I lived in Manhattan and would ride my bike to an abandoned lot under the FDR Drive between 21st & 22nd streets. I could relate to the dapper angler in the top photo–not with his style, but in his stoic demeanor.
These days, I can't imagine hurting another creature for sport.

Old photos have something very special about them, something slightly magical, and these are no exception! Incredible, especially the last one!
