I picture myself fifty years from now toting this bag in my travels to Paris and/or the International Space Station.! It is such a timeless piece ~ the iconic Burberry plaid, the animal print, and the equestrian carmel colored leather. Madly in love with it!
I had to strip away my love for bags and be objective. These give me the creeps, esp #2. Once slung over the shoulder you’ll look like you’re on the Frontier going to the trade post to sell some skins…
So, not to be a total ass here, but those bags are made of *animals* not animal *print*. I wear leather like most folks, but always have a hard time doing so; seeing the full deal, fur and all, reminds me of what my shoes are made of (leather)… I do tend to see the dark side of life, tho ;-0)
You’re not being an arse at all! It’s technically a hybrid of sorts. It’s a leather bag with pony hair covering it. But the pattern isn’t organic to the fabrication, so it is a printed pattern.
Thank you for that clarification Justin :)
I am relieved that is not real leopard…I am entirely out of touch with the fashion world, but that’s why I like Scott’s blog, it inspires me to get dressed in the morning lol.

Only if it were still on the cow. Looking at it actually makes me feel a bit sick. It looks like a big floppy bag of skin.

Hey Stephanie,
You’re not being an arse at all! It’s technically a hybrid of sorts. It’s a leather bag with pony hair covering it. But the pattern isn’t organic to the fabrication, so it is a printed pattern.
All the best!
