There’s nothing better than working on a project about love with the one you love. Â A few weeks ago, Garance and I Â had the opportunity to collaborate on a project capturing ‘true love in pictures‘ for the Tiffany ‘what makes love true’ campaign. Â It was cool to play with instagram while shooting some of our friends (like Andi & Jordan above) in both Paris and New York.
It was also fun thinking about the small, tender gestures that a couple offers to each other– which are really the fuel that keeps a relationship special. I love that Garance makes my oatmeal for me in the morning while I run out to get our coffee.  They’re both just simple small acts but they make life happy.

Yes, it’s definitely the little things that count. Every morning my husband leaves my vitamins out for me. He has been doing it for 30 years. Maybe the next series will include a fit-looking older couple? I know of at least one ;-).

I love the photo. I always say that couples who can laugh together, can get through anything together. But those who can’t manage to laugh, don’t stand a chance of making it. This image captures that beautifully.

I love that in the simplest of unguarded moments love makes you talk unabashedly about your lover with nary a thought to jaded notions of affairs. Delicate and vulnerable, they are all too easily bullied and sullied. Thank you for this Scott…I am enjoying every moment of a wonderful love affair that has all the trapping of a ‘forever’…

OK, I don’t want to be a downer, and I love the photo above and am a fan of your work, but when I clicked and looked at the other photos I thought “infatuation” rather than love. I think this might be because I’m slightly older than this crowd and true love has taken on a different tinge. Tiffany’s was going for a look, I suppose; they also picked a very specific demographic for the love stories posted on the site. That’s marketing, I guess!
