The Sartorialist on Style.com

The shows start today in New York so my coverage on Style.com for women’s and mens should start today or tomorrow.
If you have a chance I would love to hear from you at Style.com but don’t forget about me here at The Sartorialist.

I would also really like to hear what you think about the shows (just try not to use words like dork, tool, loser or even worse).

    Dear Sart,

Are you going to write something on the shows for this blog?
I would love to hear about the backstages. It’s always fun to see how celebs and attendees adapt their style to the show they’re at.
If you write on the shows themselves, i hope you can give us something more personel.

    good luck and have fun

    still me
just curious: i know that you’ve worked in the fashion world for years and so don’t really need it but, did you do any homework for your coverage prep?

This will bring together my two favorite sites — I’m thrilled! Where on style.com can we find you? Have fun at Fashion Week.

Waiting with eager excitement about the pockets of men’s fashion to be featured in Bryant Park and nearby environs. What are John Bartlett, Michael Kors, Manuel, and John Varvatos going to send into the tent? Simon Doonan’s most recent article in the NY Observer is quite hilarious. He applauds the Milan and Paris trend of the “fashionable felon” look, with hints of uptight Mormonism. Will New York hop onto the prison yard and Utah-inspired bandwagon? We’ll see . . .

Just beginning to pay attention the Sartorial side of things, looking forward to your coverage.

Bought my first nice suit, a chalk stripe Valentino at the Barney’s sample sale last week. I know you are busy, but do you have any suggestions on where to get it tailored?

    cheers.

Am I the only one who has been at the edge of my seat waiting for fashion week to start?!?! haha

I’m hoping to score some tickets from an old co-worker of mine from Complex Magazine’s fashion closet. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

The style.com pictures are great, but the commenting system is stupid. Tell them to make it like this, please.
