Last night at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Robert Burke spoke at a presentation of the Costume Institute titled “Runway to Reality”. I was honored that Robert used quite a few of my photos to illustrate how the runway shows effect “real people”. I was also pleased no major museum benefactor pulled the money for a new wing because of my photos! Not that I know of anyway.

Finally I met the perfect blog to link in MY blog. You really give satisfaction to my curiosity about people and their way ‘uncategorized’ way to dress.
Grazie!

Michael Bastian looks absolutely stunning in that picture. The mod sharp hankie, the matching white pants (I am quite sure he picked pants to match hankie and not other way around) and that stunning jacket-tie combo makes for a sort of relaxed elegance I have long to have myself.
Who is he? Excuse an ignorant Swede if this is obvious to New Yorkers

I like Michael Bastion’s outfit. It’s cute and chic.
I love the white skinny jeans with the sharp jacket.
I would totally wear that!
Actually, I like this look better than some of the looks he previewed on models!
