That looks like a hell of a time…hope to meet you some other time, Sart….also, that was nice to invite another Italian from the blog for Lino to tag along with! Looks like they had fun……Missing the UES right now.
What a gracious, friendly evening you hosted. So lovely to meet Garance Dore as well. Smiles all around, democratic and embracing of everyday chic folks… that is what fashion, retail and magazines should be all about. Elitism does not inspire people outside the fashion world to shop and put on their best..but you do. The success of your launch and the following you have are well deserved. Let's keep spreading the word. We love you – Darby and Solange
It was nice to finally put a face to the name and man that this little bargain blogger from Utah has been peeking and eyeing on this site for some weeks now … you are quite the handsome devil, aren't you?
It was so nice to meet you. I was nervous, but you and G were so funny! I posted some photos of you too! ADORABLE! The book is great. Nothing compares to print! You know? Thanks for all the inspiration. xoxoAmber
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! the photos are absolutely beautiful, especially the second one(you and garance look so cute together).Unfortunetely I can´t buy the book because the shipping will be more expensive the the book, and the change from pesos to dollars o euros isn´t good for me.Good luck. Love your blog (and Garance´s)
Just looking back at that photo of Lino, and I noticed something interesting….his hands.
I've been figure drawing since I was 7 and I rarely see hands that interesting and intricate looking. They're calloused looking, wiry and brutish. And the way they clasp that stemware offsets their nature beautifully.
Lots of interesting body language going on!
Thats why I think he's so damn cool, its because you can tell he's done many things in life other than just run a clothing store.
I just love it when a person's body language and clothes reflect their real personality. You can tell Lino and others in these photos are extremely comfortable walking around in what they wore.
Congrats Sart! What a beautiful, stunning photo essay of the event! When are you coming to San Francisco for a signing??? We're cultured and love ourselves some fashion photography and I promise we don't bite or throw shoes : )
Scott, Just so you know, this is the first time EVER i leave a comment on the internet… You and Garance make the cutest couple!! J'adore! Both you guys' sites! Keep it up, and visit Amsterdam more often :) Even though, admittedly, the Parisians do it better, there are quite some photo-worthy pps here as well XX
Hey Sart, you look good, your lady looks good. You guys have similar cheek/chin structure…looking good. Hey don't forget to come to San Francisco. I just got off the phone with my dad's ole friend Dr. Ceasar Churchwell, asking him if he had a child/grandchild named Crystal. The world is smaller than we think and we are more alike than not…Ciao.
Oh my god, it was amazing. Thank you, I'm going to treasure this book FOREVER. I trekked with it to school, showing off. It's absolutely stunning. And great tortoiseshell glasses. They were gorgeous, where from?
I´m really happy for all the work you have done!, is incredible to see how far away you can go if you are passioned with the things you do. YOU ARE A INSPIRATION FOR ME, I´m only 19 and this makes me belive in succeed!
thanks for your incredible work and congratulations for everything!
The book is already on my coffee table where, of course, is going to be an important subject of my future conversations with all my friends!!! And it's autographed by you and GD…Awesome Best, best, best
congrats on the book, scott. really wish i was there esp. knowing the object of my lustful desire, simone came all the way from italy to be there for you. m oh i hope you remebered to tell him that there's a woman in massachusets who thinks he's god's gift. hmm hmm. BELLO!
Hi, I just purchased your book at my college campus bookstore in New Jersey, and I must say you have inspired to be more creative with my outfits and now i get compliments everyday from students. It has helped me feel more confident and I can't thank you enough. Please make more books, I will be looking forward to getting them. Much love. -C
