Love the short China doll bangs and the short Bob cut. Yes, very Louise Brooks and that red cinched belt is perfect with her striped tank. She looks like a cabaret dancer from the 20′s taking a break from rehearsals. What a great candid shot. It almost looks like she posed for you. This could be an ad for Capezio!
sharp bobs like this are all around at the moment, aren;t they? i’m inspired by the pinky red bob on natalia in vogue, so i’m growing my hair out to do that! well, the style, not the colour…
The fabulous up-and coming model of the moment Alison Nix. The louise Brooks hair is a great new look. Are those her own clothes she’s wearing or Rag and Bone? as they are TOTALLY FAB!!!
Sart, you are a great photographer, no doubt! But I would have to say that this new camera took you to a new level, don’t you think? This picture is so perfect, it could be in any glossy magazine or fashion book! Congrats!
I love this, I love it, I love it, I love it. I had a haircut like this four years ago, but since I have a thick mane of unruly curls I could never leave the house without first wearing a tight hat for a half hour to tame the bangs so they didn’t go all fluffy on me later. It was too much effort in the end so I just grew it out. But looking at her, I am thinking it might just be worth the labour…
Please, people! Natalie Portman’s look was itself a rip-off of Louise Brooks. She was the original! Google the lady if you don’t know who she is. Now that that cranky outburst is out of the way, I have to say, I’m jealous of her tiny waist and I agree that this photo is gorgeous.
I’ve seen some ’20′s-inspired clothes in the stores. They remind me of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” – remember that? With Julie Andrews and Mary Tyler Moore and Carol Channing?

Uncanny resemblance..her waist appears even more tinier as it already is, cinched in w/ her belt.
Very good look about her.
