While in Florence last time, I saw several guys looking great with the brown/white color combo.
I’m torn though as to whether I should try this look next summer or wait till my hair turns their shade of silvery white (which ,come to think of it, might also be next summer!)

The aesthetic of the first pic is nicer than the bottom dude with the pocket square. There’s more to look at in the lines and texture.
Happily, both are smashes. Just prefer the first, is all.

Don’t you worry about that – silver is a wonderful accessory!
Meanwhile, the gentleman in the first photo looks great. Chocolate and vanilla are wonderful together.

how great to see examples of how to truly age. i love that you find people who are doing it with style and grace rather than resistance and denial. they are truly leading by example. . . and give us all something refreshing in the process.

Both relaxed, unselfconscious: desirable. And another example of the fact that Style Knows No Age

Proud to say I’ve been doing brown and white all this summer; white jeans or tailored shorts with tops in shades of brown or mud
In fact I think I’ll put on some brown & white right now!

Woow, at first glance I thought the guy at the top was Calvin Klein!
What does Calvin Klein actually look like now, anyway?

I LOVE brown and white. It’s less severe than black and white and reminds me of Italy for some reason.

I hope father time is as kind to me as he was to these two gentlemen.

Great combination – brown and white works wonderfully for summer.

I thought they both looked great but thought the first man’s pants looked too tight, looking like tights.

Sart, these two looks would be great for you.
I think gray or brown jackets with white jeans really kick the navy jacket prep/naval look down the street! Less of a costume.

Both men are gifted with grey/silver hair. Ageing is good! Imagine these gentlemen with dark hair. Not as elegant or sophisticated

Why wait? It’s not Labor Day yet. I have on an ivory short-sleeve shirt with a deep V, ivory silk trousers, brown mock-croc sandals, and a brown-trimmed monogram canvas Gucci belt. White and ivory go spendidly with a tan.

Also, both have the ‘scruff’ look. I suppose because it’s white it gives them a look of agedness, though seems that’s traditionally a younger facial hair schema.

The use of a pochet in combination with a kind of Bogota Flughafen-chique, necklace and a bimbo semi-coke snorting hairdo, is totally not what we appreciate in gentlemen in Europe.
